Unique LoomSofia Collection Area Rug - Grace (5' 1" x 8', Dark Gray/ Gray)

This is supposed to be a runner but I decided it needed to go on my stairs. We used tack strips and padding and installed it like a proper stair runner. As you can see in the picture, it is award-winning. But, on the landing where it would have been nice to have used a 45 degree angle and mitred the edges with a seam, this carpet is not a good enough quality to make the seam work. The minute you cut it, it starts to fall apart. That is okay because it is not supposed to be cut. I just wanted to show you guys that it can be used creatively. If you buy this, you will want to get and underlayment so that it doesn't slide across the floor like Aladdin's magic carpet.

I'm very disappointed that I can't give it a 5 because I really love this rug. It is beautiful and I love the colors and design! It is not thick but that's fine because I knew it wouldn't be. It is soft which was very important to me since my toddler will be rolling around on it. The problem is the creases as you can see in the photos. We laid it out immediately after receipt and it's been 5 days. There are still major creases where the rug was rolled too tight and folded on itself. It's been vacuumed and stretched as best I can by placing heavy furniture around the edges. Some of the creases have softened quite a bit but 2 of them I dont think are going to get any better. I'll give it some more time but this might be headed for the dumpster. I still gave it a 3 because the rug itself is lovely if it doesn't come creased.

The product itself is like a 3 star but the customer service is 5 stars.I loved the design, the colors and the price but overall I was disappointed. I read all the reviews and had really hoped for the best.When I got this there were a few issues.First, mine came rolled, not folded, which was great, however, it would not lay down flat no matter what we did.Second, the colors were muted but we could not put our finger on what it looked like. It was as if it was being viewed through a hazy film. The design was blurred almost. I noticed when I rubbed my hand over the fibers, the rug the colors seemed to pop more, but then the fibers would settle and back to the blurred look.Third, there was a pull in the strings on one of the seams. The package had a slight tear there so not sure if it was something that happened in shipment.Overall I ended up sending it back and am waiting for my refund. The seller was very quick to send a return label and instructions on how to package it back up. We were careful when we removed packing so rolled it back up, added a ton of tape and shipped it back.Grateful for the excellent customer service.

Exactly like the picture. Nevermind the reviews about the folds in the carpet. Wrinkles will come out after laying flat. Helps if you pull it out a bit. It's really almost flat already and I JUST laid it out.They had to fold it in half and roll it up to ship. But get this...they protected it by wrapping it with a tarp and put a nice note, "sorry for folding it." How thoughtful!It's actually intentionally darker on one side and then fades (gradient). Feels like velvet! It really seems bigger than its actual size. Just really love it!

Every review about this being one big wrinkle is true. I followed someone’s directions by holding it up and steaming it and then laying something heavy on it overnight to help flatten it out. I did this a couple of times but the end result was worth it because it’s a perfect fit in my kitchen nook. The color is true to the picture .

I was extremely happy with this rug from the start. There are 3 or 4 ripples that need to come out but they're not creases so it'll probably be flat in a couple of days. People are complaining about it curling. Well, that's what thin, inexpensive rugs do! Get rug tape and be done with it. It's safer that way, anyway. The color is exactly what I was hoping it would be, although it's maybe just a tad bit darker than I thought. It's not an issue, though; it still looks great. It doesn't feel like commercial carpeting, which is what I thought it would be like since it was so inexpensive. It's actually tufted and woven, so that's a major plus. If I had one thing to complain about, I would say that the corners don't appear to be perfect 90-degree angles but I'm also not placing a ton of confidence in my house being perfectly square, either, so I'm not sure which is slightly off. All that said, I'm extremely happy with this purchase and I think it looks great in the space for which is was intended.

I purchased this rug for my sister. The color are bright and cheery and the design is pretty and will go well with her decorating style. She seemed pleased with the choice when she received it. I went with synthetic fiber for ease of cleaning and damp resistance, as she has multiple dogs and lives in a damp climate. I am slightly concerned about the cotton backing, but at this pricepoint am willing to give it a shot. If you want rugs for cushioning or as a sound barrier, you'll want to go with something thicker than 1/3"or use a carpet pad, but if you are using it to give scrabble paw dogs traction and want to be able to easily move, shake, and clean your rugs, this should suit you well when paired with a little rug tape. I also like the thinner rugs to store easily and change seasonally.
