My brick has a very rough texture with a weathered paint coating so I had to really clear and clean an area for the ringer to attach firmly in our humid weather. It fell once after a heavy rain so I prepared the area more vigorously, then bought some extra strength outdoor two-sided tape to re-adhere. It has been up for over a month now and is still holding after many uses. It is functioning as designed and I’m very pleased with it. Yay, it was so easy - I did it myself and didn’t have to pay an electrician!!! I especially like having two indoor bell boxes to position in multiple areas of the house. Although the ring is sufficiently loud I like having one near my back bedroom so I can hear it when I am in the shower or getting dressed. It would also be useful in a workshop. There are multiple ring styles to choose. Review: Works great once faulty transmitter replaced. Customer service was responsive. - Arrived with a faulty transmitter, but Avantek's customer service was responsive and instructed us to return for a new unit. I think the fault was actually with desertcart, as the transmitter battery didn't have the plastic protective slip, so it was obvious this was a returned item that desertcart attempted to resell. The replacement unit works great. Good volume and with two ringer units that can be placed strategically throughout the house, we always hear a ring. All the various ringtones are also fun to play with. We ultimately settled on a more traditional ring, but they're fun to play with. Overall, a good product for the money. ## Features - HIGH PERFORMANCE TRANSMITTER: Ultra-low power consumption; uses a lithium battery that boasts 3 year maximum lifespan; IP55 dustproof and waterproof; working temperature ranges from -4 °F-140 °F; withstands various harsh weather conditions - 1300 FT / 400 M WIRELESS RANGE: Includes 1 push button (transmitter) and 2 plug-in receivers; will not interfere with other equipment in your home or those of your neighbors; ensures that you will never miss any visitors, even if you are several rooms away - 52 BEAUTIFUL CHIMES: 40 mm stereo speaker delivers rich and crisp sound; press the Next or Previous button to easily choose from 52 melodies; 5 adjustable volume levels, with a maximum volume of 115 dB; enjoy pleasant melodies whenever someone rings at your door - MEMORY FUNCTION: Preserves your last set melody and volume level after a power outage; no need to reset to your previous settings; convenient and easy to use design for a better user experience - EASY TO SET UP: Additional AVANTEK RB-1/CR-1 plug-in receivers can be added to enhance coverage; the package includes 2 screws, 2 anchor plugs, 1 key, and 1 adhesive patch for easy installation of the transmitter ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01N06FC8R | | Average Battery Life | 1095 days | | Batteries | 1 CR2 batteries required. Mostly classical music like Fur Elise, Nutcracker, Moonlight Sonata, and other old time popular songs, like Clementine, Oh Susannah, as well as seasonal favorites like Auld Lang Syne, We Wish You a Merry Christmas, and Happy Birthday. It has a huge variety of songs available, plus a range of animal noises and classic doorbells, elevator dings, cuckoo and alarm clocks, car horn and even knocking! **Q: Is (or will) this be an expandable set so that more receivers can be added at a later time? Similar to the feature found on SadoTech's CROSSPOINT** A: I purchased this set AVANTEK D-3B & AVANTEK D-3G but can't get them to pair together. Each system works fine independently but I would like them to work as one. Right now if I press the transmitter for the D-3b it rings both receivers that came with it. If I press the transmitter that came with the D-3G it rings that receiver but no others. Ideally I would like both transmitter buttons to ring all the receivers when pressed but I can't seem to pair the systems with each other. There is no manual on how to do this. Can you send me the instructions how to do this? **Q: Can it go through the cold test of Chicago?** A: Yes! I live outside of Chicago and it has been at my door for 3yrs without fail. **Q: Is the button illuminated constantly?** A: no it is not. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to install - no electrician needed!! *by C***C on August 30, 2026* Works really well, even through my hurricane- proofed poured concrete house clad in brick - although I had to carefully position the outdoor ringer/button to ensure a signal. I can tell you as other reviewers have stated, plug in and press. Worked right out of the box with no adjustments. One receiver is close to the transmitter button and the other receiver is outside on the back deck maybe 65 feet away. Have not tried to program other chimes since the default, ding , dong is perfect. As well, haven’t adjusted the loudness since the default is plenty loud and feel that it’s probably set at its loudest. For me, perfect purchase even at full price although I received 33% off @ $19.99 Longevity will tell the complete story although I have confidence. Well done to the manufacturer!! ## Frequently Bought Together - AVANTEK Wireless Doorbell, D-3B Waterproof Door Chime Kit Operating at over 1300 Feet with 2 Plug-In Receivers, 52 Melodies, CD Quality Sound and LED Flash - Please Ring Doorbell Sign, Fade-Resistant Self Adhesive Vinyl Ring Doorbell Sticker Waterproof Ring Doorbell Sign for Home Businesses Offices - SECRUI Wireless Doorbell, Easy installation, Waterproof, Adjustable Volume, 58 Chimes, Colorful LED, 1000Ft Range, M520+F55, Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sk/products/36369413-avantek-wireless-doorbell-1300-ft-range-waterproof-2-receivers-black](https://www.desertcart.sk/products/36369413-avantek-wireless-doorbell-1300-ft-range-waterproof-2-receivers-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart Slovakia* *Store origin: SK* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
