Best and fastest way to clean a motorcycle chain!
Use this to clean the chain on my motorcycle and it works great! I use it conjunction with Dupont's wax based "Teflon" chain lube/cleaner and it got my chain squeaky clean WHILE lubricating it simultaneously!I've used it a dozen times so far and its still working great! Haven't lost any bristles and the plastic is holding up great as well (even though it feels flimsy and weak, its not!).I'll never clean my chain the old fashioned way again!

A good inexpensive product
Chain cleaning is not a favorite pastime. I've had other cleaning contraptions, I've removed my chain, and I stopped cleaning the chain for a long period. I felt that Ive raised my biking mileage recently and should get back into maintenance issues; so I went on line and saw this super brush. It sat on my work bench for a week or so until I got a request to review. That prompted me to action. Today I did chains on two of my bikes. It works very well, much better than tooth brushes and I didn't take the chains apart. The brush has long, strong bristals and with 3 sides just a little wrist movement gets the whole chain. The back side worked well for the chain wheels and derailleur wheels.I'm happy with my purchase, it seems to be a well made product.

READ THIS BEFORE BUYING - CHAIN CLEANING TIPS
The media could not be loaded. I have seen many reviews and photos complaining about this brush breaking easily. There are a few very important things to know before buying this brush and cleaning your chain.First, the brush is not built to “scrub” the grease off your chain. I think this is the number one reason the brush breaks. That is what a chain cleaner is for. Buy a high quality chain cleaner like 611 Motorex, Motul or Maxima. If you spray a generous amount of chain cleaner the majority of dirt and grime will just come off. The brush acts as a tool to remove the left over grime and to get in the tough to reach spots. If you are aggressively scrubbing the chain with the brush you are doing it wrong.Second important thing to know is cleaning your chain is exponentially easier with a rear stand. If you are trying to clean your chain while the wheel is planted on the ground you should expect the brush to break. It is a plastic handle with plastic bristles, you can’t force it against a 300 pound stationary piece of steel. After you spray the cleaner fit the brush around the chain and use your other hand to rotate the wheel, slowly moving the chain around. This will allow the brush to smoothly glide around the chain wiping off the remaining dirt and grime. Some people say you can put your bike in gear to allow wheel rotation however the back wheel of my 600rr spins way too fast and would surely risk snapping the brush. After 3 or 4 passes I spray some more cleaner and wipe down with a shop rag to get any remaining dirt.Last tip, this is a $7 tool it is not meant to last forever. Think of it as a barbecue grill brush, it is plastic bristles being constantly rubbed against a steel chain. It will wear down. I barely saw any wear from my first cleaning but I only have the expectation of getting 3-4 uses out of it. If you spend $25 on cleaner, the brush and some chain wax you can clean your chain at least 3 times. I called my local dealer and they quoted me 30min of labor which at $70 an hour is a huge savings. My review: I have a 2006 CBR600rr with 3500 miles and the chain has never been cleaned. I’ve done 2 trackdays and a couple day trips down the California coast so the chain has gathered quite a bit of dirt. Using the above tips the brush performed wonderfully and the chain looks brand new. I used Maxima chain wax which comes in a spray and doesnt fly off the chain after applying. Also after cleaning the chain I cleaned the brush by spraying the brush with chain cleaner then hosing off. The brush itself is lightweight and not made to last forever. The “C” clamp portion where the bristles are is a two piece design that wiggles when touched. I can see it breaking easily if applying too much force. This should last me 2-4 more cleanings and was worth the $7. If you want a more durable brush spend the extra $$ and get the “Grunge Brush”

Dirty motorcycle chain? You NEED this!
Why didn't I think of this? Great little invention. So much better than scrubbing your chain with an old toothbrush! This tool is perfect for cleaning bicycle and motorcycle chains. Apply a liberal amount of degreaser to your dirty, filthy chain and scrub away this brush and see how quickly your chain sparkles like new. This tool has 4 cleaning brushes, the most useful of which are the 3 brushes in the shape of C. Cleans chains perfectly.

Do yourself a favor, get this simple tool.
Does exactly what is intended. Perfect for making chain cleaning easier. Much better than the do it yourself option with a couple of toothbrushes. Just add a good cleaner/degreaser, hold this tool in place while you spin your wheel a few times, and done. The only thing I can think of that "might" make this tool a better one, if if the handle were at a 90° angle from chain rather than about a 45° angle. This would make it easier to position on top and bottom of chain. However, I say might, because the approximate 45° angle may be necessary to provide proper leverage downward/upward to the top/bottom of the chain. Regardless, the tool is one of the better simple tools for this purpose that I've used.

Broke 7 months after purchase
1 dollar a month i suppose is acceptable. it is just inconvenient that the brush breaks suddenly on my one day off and need to wait to order another brush, wait till it arrives, and wait for another day off.Worked well while it lasted. I'm going to try a different brand for my next brush.

Very nice!
The brush is nice and solid. The bristles on the brush are very hard and tough so it's breaks apart all the gunk on your chain, and it fits perfectlyrics around the motorcycle chain! This product is really worth getting if you gotta clean a very gunked up chain or just regular maintenance.

Great for Bicycle Chain Cleaning
This is a very good brush. Stiff brush hairs make things easy to clean, and I have had none fall out over heavy use. Personally I use this to clean up bikes I'm restoring. The brush is great with degreaser to get the rust of bicycle chains, and the back brush works to clean the cassette. I'm glad I went with this over the Park Tools one.
