DickiesMen's Original 874 Work Pants

I've been wearing Dickies 874 to work for 20+ years and they're a great value for what you get. The last 3 times I ordered these brand new, the waist was so tight that I had to almost keep my stomach sucked in to be able to keep them buttoned shut. I returned them and ordered the next waist size bigger and they fit great without a belt. Just to show a waist size difference between other pants I own and Dickies, I need to wear a belt with those and they're all my normal waist size. It might be a production issue but don't be alarmed when the size you usually order is too tight to button closed, just order the next waist size up.

These pants fit well and are made well, and the ability to buy a 31" inseam is nice. The pants are just slightly snug, but acceptable. I bought the color blue, and it really shows the dust/dirt which can't be brushed off. One very specific issue: The belt loops are slightly small, and just barely accommodate my work belt. I typically tuck the extra length of the belt back into the first loop, but the loops are so small I can't do this. I end up walking around with the end of my belt hanging loose, so I probably won't buy these again. I'll go back to Carhartt.

My sons and partner request the dickies brand for pants and shorts because they’re very durable, they don’t fade, they don’t shrink, and they’re just very trusted amongst them. I love these for uniform pants for school. Available in a variety of colors. The fit was very well. I ordered the wrong size the first time and sent them back and their return went without a hitch, which is what I loved. Money very well spent.

BUY. THESE. NOW. I decided to jump onto the dickies trend after seeing them everywhere and let me say... I understand the hype. They are super comfortable. They are easy to style. Ive washed them about 10 times and they look the exact same as when I got them in the mail. I do have to say they are a little loose in the waist so Id recommend you go down a size, unless you want the baggy look. The pockets are super deep. Im 5ft 6in tall and these pants sit right above my ankle. The only complaint I have is that when I initially received them, there were a few loose threads on the seams but they came out with a lint roller. I always get compliments when I wear these pants. Did I mention they're easy to style? Im probably going to buy another pair in a different color. I highly recommend!!

These pants run small in the waist, so I sent the first pair back and reordered one size up. I wear 38 waist and they didn't fit so I ordered Haggar 40 waist, and they fit only because of the expandable waist. I ordered from another company also and their pants were two sizes small. These Haggar pants now fit perfectly and look great.

I just love these pants for my security job! Ladies I'm a size 6 to 8. I bought I inch larger size 33 since I have to tuck in my security shirt & under top to have room. I'm 5'2" tall so bought size 29 length. Amazing they fit perfect no matter if sized for a man. I bought two pairs!

I've worn Dickies work pants around the house for 40+ years. The original fit is comfortable. They hold their color and shape very well. In fact, I've had some of these pants last 20 years before I decided to heave them and mostly because the pockets wore through. After several years, wear will start to show, but they don't quit on you. I've also worn them when bleaching stuff without damaging them. I'd never try that with jeans of any brand.

These are very well made attractive pants. My husband wears a 38-32 pant size, so I got the XL but they are too large in the leg area and very long length. It could be that they are made to fit that way, I don't know, since I have never bought this type of pants before.

I bought a pair to try them on and I ordered 2 others, super comfortable for working outside and the price is very good

I use this pants in my work that is physical, but I realize that are comfortable and looks great, so I brought a different color and now this pants are my everyday pants, comfortable, light and nice pockets.

Great pants 32” fits like 31”

As others have mentioned these fit small. I am a 31 (or sometimes 32) in most brands, but I tried a 32 in the store and couldn't do them up. I have a pair of 34's and they are too big. So I ordered a 33 and they are perfect. So you will likely need to size up one or two sizes from your normal size. Most stores don't sell odd sizes which is why I ordered them here.As far as the pants go, these are really useful. Comfortable and cool enough for activity or the summer. Super durable and soften up once you wash them. Super easy to wash and care for so you don't have to baby them. Actually reasonably dressy when newer so you can use them for casual wear if you want. Belt loops are quite small so a slimmer belt is needed. Now that I know my size I will probably stock up on some other colours.
