Little Dog tested, Big Dog approved
On the left of this picture you will see a dog who enjoys Moist & Meaty cheeseburger flavor dog food pouches. It is the ONLY food out of the 1,895,762 kinds we have tried that he will eat, and only with a rediculous ritual involving lip smacking noises and food guarding maneuvers. On the right of this picture you will see a dog who doesn't eat anything. To keep the dog on the left from looking like the dog on the right we feed him Moist & Meaty.

Great dog food!!
I have an older small dog with an underbite. I noticed she was having a difficult time eating the hard dog food, so I tried finding Gaines Burgers (from the way back, because that's how old I am) and found out they had been discontinued. After doing a search, I came across Purina's Moist & Meaty. I am so very happy and grateful that I found this dog food. She loves this food. Its small and soft enough for her to chew it comfortably. She seems to like the taste and must be under the impression that I've lost my mind and am now filling her bowl with treats. My younger dog, who was a vacuum in her past life, loves it, too -- although, I only feed this to her as a special treat, because 'Lunchbox' would let her elder companion starve to death without a care if it meant she could eat it all... So, Purina Moist & Meaty gets two thumbs and eight paws up from this house. We are all very pleased and happy with this dog food. By the way, that's a photo of my crotchety old gal after her first bowl of Moist & Meaty... As you can see, it hit the spot. PS -- for anyone concerned about stomach issues, there weren't any issues with either of my dogs. No getting sick on the floor -- especially with 'Lunchbox', because she gorges. No 'loosey goosey' panicked runs and stumbles in the middle of the night trying to get the door open to the backyard. The changeover went really well.

Tender Food for My Old Lady
I bought this for my 13 yr old papillon, Abigail. She has been losing weight lately. I realized normal dog food is too hard on her mouth and jaw. I switched her over to this and as you can see from how hard it was to get a pic of her, she "woofed" it down. She gives 5 tails up for it! Hopefully this will put some of the weight back on.

My dog is much healthier on Purina Moist and Meaty
2 years ago I adopted a dog from a shelter. She came with epilepsy and worse hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. Just a nightmare. She had reactions to just about every food I fed her and would eat shoelaces, hair bands, chair pad ties and area rugs in order to calm her extreme stomach pain. A nice lady at a dog park I frequent suggested a diet of just chicken, lentils and carrots. It improved things considerably, but my dog was listless and still had bouts of pain and bloody stools. My local 99 cent store carries Purina Moist and Meaty Dog Food. I started feeding it to my dog and, after about a week, noticed a great improvement in her health, stools and energy levels. I believe that on the homemade diet I had been feeding her she was not getting enough nutrients to sustain her. Purina, as a company, has been in the business of feeding animals for decades. I now am only feeding her different flavors of Moist and Meaty.

quality control very bad
I have fed this to my dogs before and was taking a short trip with them so bought a case for use on the trip. Both dogs at first refused to eat it when their noses got close to it. I threw those packets out and then opened some others. The chemical smell was so overpowering it was disgusting. Either they have changed the recipe or their process is wildly out of control but this was pure garbage and not safe for any animal or creature to eat most likely. Purina did not do itself proud on this one.
