Penhaligon's Peoneve Eau de Parfum, 1.7 fl. oz.

This is a perfectly pretty rosy floral. It makes me think of flower gardens in full bloom in the spring...which makes my eyes water just thinking about it. I have terrible plant and pollen allergies which have always kept me from truly enjoying flowers or springtime. But this must be what it feels like to lie in a bed of fresh flowers with leafy stems. The fragrance is almost comically girly. I usually don't consider fragrance either feminine or masculine as most are both. But this fragrance is SO feminine that it's a little ridiculous. A few spritzes and suddenly I'm wearing a big poofy pink dress and prancing around singing "I Feel Pretty" and performing choreography I didn't even have time to learn. As with all fragrance, men and women could wear this equally well; just be advised that this is the feeling you're going to have. It's great. It makes you want to use words like "lovely" more often. Definitely recommend if you like natural rosy fragrances.

I just received this and love it. Remind me of spring flowers and everything fresh. Now that fall and cold is settling in hard and fast in Minnesota, I will use it often to remind me of better days. I have alway been a huge fan of Penhaligans and have used their products since the mid 1980s. A bit pricey but well worth it. Go ahead and treat yourself. You won't be disappointed!
