Q: This stuff works great but i'm wondering why this is $26 here and $14 at home depot or lowes. same stuff?

Home Depot has 2300 US stores per their web site. Assuming they order 10 for each store.. they're ordering 23,000 of these. ZEP has many cleaning products, but let's say Home Depot only stocks 10 of each at each store. So let's say they're ordering almost a quarter million items on one order. They probably have it all delivered to a central warehouse and then Home Depot sends the stuff to their regional warehouses along with many other items on the same truck. They have the buying power to just about tell Zep what they will pay, take it or leave it. Lowe's has 1737 stores in the US. Not as much bargaining power, but not far behind. I have no direct knowledge about any of the 3 businesses mentioned here, but I have 48 years experience in retailing, all but 15 in management, so I'm 99.99% confident that I'm right.

Q: If you have root clog in your sewer pipe does the zep root kill works? And how long does it take to kill the roots?

It works if the clog is not complete. From first use it takes maybe a week to start working.
