SHUT UP
Kyle and Rai are just it for me. Reading the Throne duet was absolutely everything that I needed. I just know when I read God of Fury I’d want to know more about Kyle and Rai. Their story did not disappoint. Such a good read, with interesting turns that will lead into the rest of Rina’s books! Also I absolutely love Nikolai and of course it’s a no brainer that I love Kyle as well, they are so much alike!!!

⭐️4/5⭐️
Spoilers & Thoughts Below!!•Throne of Vengeance was a great dark mafia romance book filled with a lot of spice, revenge, and action.•This is a conclusion to the Throne duet, so it should be read after Throne of Power.•I actually quite enjoyed this book as the characters and plot were entertaining and well developed. It also was just a quick read with dual POVs.•Definitely check the trigger warnings before reading as there is an on the page attempted sexual assault.•The plot and the story development was good. I will say though, that the revenge plot wasn’t that significant until the very end as the story focused more on Rai and Kyle’s relationship.•There is the surprise pregnancy trope used in this book as well and while it was a bit dubcon it was still good.•Rai and Kyle’s character development and storylines were great. Their struggles with accepting their duties and trusting each other was well written and filled with a lot of angst.•I loved the push and pull between Rai and Kyle, as their chemistry and sexual tension was very intense. The spice is also incredible and very high.•The ending did feel a little rushed and there were still some unanswered questions but still an enjoyable conclusion.•The epilogue was absolutely my favorite part and just the perfect ending for these characters.•Overall, just an enjoyable read with a passionate and steamy romance.

Dark, twisted, action-packed, did I mention dark mafia romance - Highly Recommend!
This is the 2nd part of Kyle’s and Rai’s story … IT IS NOT A STAND-ALONE … There is a lot of information contained in the 1st part, not to mention a cliffhanger at the end, that needs to be known to read and understand the remainder of the story. There are obviously reoccurring characters, consecutive timelines and overarching themes, so please do not try to read these out of order.Contains subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some including adult language, adult steamy intimate scenes (BDSM themes of restraint, airplay, dominance / submission, punishment, etc.) and violence such as kidnapping / abduction, torture, human trafficking, prostitution, drugs, rape, assault, fighting, murder, etc. This is about characters involved in assassinations and various mafia families / enterprises (Russian, Italian, Yakuza, etc.) and everything that the reader should expect from the genre. The story universe is well developed, especially for this 2nd part, with intriguing characters, and an action packed, twisted, dark storyline.Rina Kent does a wonderful job with writing this Duet, although there are still a few grammatical issues here and there, such as missing / duplicated / inserted extra words.⛔️ If you have not read the previous story, the following may contain spoilers.Last chance ….A lot of things were provided throughout the first part about Kyle’s background, but more details are provided that explained what made him into a cold blooded assassin. We find out more about his motivation, what drives him, why he left 7 years ago and part of what initially drew him to Rai.There were a couple of things that were included that I don’t think a real mafia would put up with, but I will not provide any details as it reveal some plot twists. This begins with Kyle’s memories of his parents and the details of what happened to him as a child. Then it goes into the scenes that were part of the cliffhanger. This leads to other situation(s) with more people being involved in deception, subterfuge, and/or machinations by the various mafia families and even among the leaders within each family.

Rai and Kyle
I finally took the time to finish this book. I knew I’d enjoy it and love it once I did. And I did. The audio book is really good too. I switched back and forth. Happy to see the ending of Rai and Kyle’s story. It was interesting and easy to read.
