Good quality print from this toner cartridge.

This is the third compatible toner cartridge that I ordered within two weeks time. I am relieved and gratified to find a reliable "compatible" company! This cartridge arrived well packed w/ a shield on the roller. The others arrived leaking or the leaking toner was evident once installed and printing. I did wipe down and use canned air to clean my machine to the best of my ability, and the leaked toner on copies from the other compatibles has disappeared and clear copies are now the result. Thank you, LD!! My Brother machine is over 15 y/o and still running like a champ, I appreciate finding a good compatible and not having to buy an expensive replacement..

I bought the 4 pack with black and white and the colors. They worked kind of OK for a while, but pretty soon the quality took a major dive and began smudging everything, printing super light, and generally printing crappy quality. Turns out if you don't pay the $330 I just paid for genuine Canon, that's pretty much what you can expect, based on the review of others who made the same mistake and finally had to bite the bullet and pay the outrageous price Canon demands. I can't swear it'll fix the problem, cuz I haven't got the replacement cartridges yet, but it should. If not, I'll review their cartridges too!

good fit

I submitted this for a refund under the mistaken impression that it was the wrong size but as I was packing the box I realized that the Brother printer has a cartridge carrier and this cartridge IS the right size. I was relieved and put it in the printer to make sure it was OK before cancelling the refund request and that's when I found that the print quality is quite poor --- too light. Some of the stuff I print hardly shows up at all, so I just left in the refund request.If you don't mind light print this is a good price so I give it 3 stars.

I have 3 brother MFC-8440 I use as copiers. Prints OK and does the job but wasn't as dark as my other printers.
