My Dad (now mid-80s) has had one of these coin purses for as long as I can remember. These are as good, if not better quality than his from days gone by. I like the colour selection, and the price is very fair. These are easily carried in a pocket or purse, and seem like they’ll hold up to day-to-day use. Side story: when Mom would say “no” to the dime or quarter gumball machines, my Dad always took the one out of his pocket to give my younger sister and I a coin for some gum. Can’t wait to do the same for my grandchildren 😊

I have had mine for a year and a half now, and love them. One is in my lunchbox for work and carries enough coins to buy two things from the snack machines. I take two with me on my travels to Mexico - one carries all my small coins that collect in my pocket that I usually end up giving away. The other one carries the larger coins that you might need to use a bathroom or busfare. Easy to use, not difficult to open. When they shut, all your coin is secured in an easy to find thing in your pocket. They are a little stiff when it is cold out, but still work with some efforts. By cold I mean 40F or colder. If and when I have broken all of these, I will be buying another set.

Once common, you can’t find these anymore. Even at the Dollar Store. I use these to hold CF Cards for my media player. Absolutely ideally suited for the task.

Just like the ones I've been using for many years. Simple and easy to use. I don't have to struggle trying to find loose change in my pocket.

With the discontinuation of penny production by the US Government, many stores are now posting signs about how they're going to give change-- rounding up/down to the nearest nickel in many cases. A well known chain of stores in our area has signs stating they now round up exclusively to the nearest nickel, so if your purchase is $x.01 they will charge you $x.05. That's 4 cents profit for them and who knows how many hundreds of transactions of day will add up quickly. The answer? These old fashioned coin purses filled with pennies and dropped in your pocket. You squeeze to access and press down to close it tightly if it is over full. I remember my dad carry these around all through the 1970s and 80s, usually featuring graphics from a gas station. They hold about 30 mixed US coins if you tap it a bit, which will cover most change requirements. The rubber/plastic feels the same as always and will likely last a good few years before becoming brittle. To use, simply press at the ends of the slot to spread the oval open. Press the short sides to close fully.
