Some functions are covered well, with usage and examples. Some are simply listed, with arguments. Others are unmentioned.Functions listed are a small subset of even Excel 2010 functions, e.g., essential functions such as MID are missing entirely.Of those functions listed, many show syntax, but no usage or examples.I wound up spending as much time with MS online references as if I'd never ordered this book.

Every time I consulted this book, I found that it was inadequate. I had to go to the web to find my answer.

Really easy to follow guide to some of the most useful functions of these spreadsheets. Well laid out, easy to follow, clear instructions.
