Really excellent product. I have used this on several woodworking projects and it really enhances the grain and beauty of the wood, depending on what wood you are using of course. Dries pretty quickly which is great.

They have two types of this product. This is the original #3400. Not the milky looking #19400. This one goes on easy and really makes the cedar deck look a thousand times better after application. The other one is runny and white looking. Avoid. Get this instead.

i used this timber oil as a recommendation for protecting some bamboo fencing i use for an outdoor shower. it went on the bamboo very nicely. i used a brush and there were certainly some drip / run spots but i didnt care because it is an outdoor shower. if you want a more uniform professional look you would likely need to use a cloth. i used very little as the bamboo has a finished like feel to the outside. i also used it on some cedar and other wood on the same shower - those were more porous and although i only had a small amount of this type of wood to cover, i could tell it was really soaking up the oil. if you have more porous wood, expect to use a lot more of the oil. i cant say right now how well it is protecting the wood as i just recently applied it, but i suspect it should do well. i live in the high desert with lots of heat, dryness sun but also cold winters. it IS a shower so the wood will also get wet. this oil was recommended to me by the bamboo company i purchased the bamboo from and i was told it should work with all the extremes in the environment i explained above.

Tried this on a teak table that had seen much better days. Brought it back beautifully although the first can I had, had some kind of stain in it so the finish was darker that I would have liked. But , applied the finish in the spring and it looks as good as the day I applied it as I was covering the table for winter. I just bought a can of natural and am in the process of coating some teak trim. Looks great and in the process of reinstalling on my boat. Can't wait for spring to do the rest of the trim in the cockpit.

Deceiving listing. ! quart not a gallon!

I have one of those chainsaw carved bears that was a tree stump carved into the bear shape. I have had it about twenty years and it sits outside. The original finish was gone and the wood was turning white. I applied this oil and BOOM , the original beautiful color of the wood came right back. It looks better than than new and was exactly what I was looking for.
