Oh my goodness!!! I am so impressed with this shampoo. My dog is a goldendoodle so her hair is extremely thick and had been woolly looking. I normally take her to the groomers. I noticed she had some skin problems where their were small scabies on her head. When I saw this, I immediately started to do some research and found your shampoo. After reading about your product I decided to give it a try. This shampoo is above the bar. My dog is literally comfortable in her own skin. Not only that, but her hair has never looked blacker, richer and shiner than it does now. I can't get over how beautiful her hair looks and how easy it was to comb her thick hair out. It was never like this before. The next time I take her to the groomers, I am also bringing this shampoo for them to use. I don't want any other product used on her hair after seeing the benefits of EquiSilver Plus Medicated Shampoo. Thank you so very much for making such a great product and caring enough about our animals. I wish I had something like this to use on my hair. Thank you again.

Updated Review (6-2018) -After a few uses, my dog's skin developed different issues. I took a closer look of the ingredients and saw that it contained SLS. Sulfates are incredibly irritating to the skin because it simply cleans too well - it strips the skin of its natural oil and exposes it to environmental pollutants and irritants. Plus there is an issue of it being potentially carcinogenic. Not wanting to waste it, I used the remaining shampoo for my laundry. Laundry was really clean! lolThe idea of adding silver to the shampoo is a great one but the SLS is a deal breaker for me. I don't want to use these harsh chemicals on my family or on my dog.Original Review -My dog (some sort of Yorkie mix) suffered from serious dandruff and his skin was bumpy and itchy as he was getting middle-aged. I had tried a few shampoos/conditioners (both over the counter and from the vet's office) and nothing really gave relief until this one. I bathed him once a week and after two applications, I could see a big improvement. And now 5 weeks in, the dandruff is completely gone and he scratches himself a lot less.Also the scent is very pleasant. Not strong or overpowering at all. A big plus in my book as I do not want to overwhelm his sensitive nose. I have returned shampoos for heavy scent before.His fur is very soft now and I do not need to use a conditioner afterwards. I think a bottle will easily last 6 months for me with weekly use. 5 stars!

This smells very nice and it seems gentle. Maybe too gentle doesn't clean fur, need to wash with other shampoo first to remove dirt then wash/soak with this. I used of my dogs and kittens. I was using as a gentle shampoo for tiny kittens (days old on up) to help prevent ringworm and other skin issues. Felt better using this diluted in warm soak bath then lime sulfur dip on the tiny babies. Is it a miracle? No I didn't see anything amazingI used on dogs with allergies again had to prewash then soak with this shampoo after. Didn't see dramatic results. Tried using with the spay of same product no huge changes.

My mini dachund has allergies and takes Claritin every day. Since his belly is so close to the ground, his bottom side breaks out from just running across the grass. The vet suggested anti bacterial/anti viral shampoo. I tried several brands, but this works by far better than the others. This, along with his oral meds and an occasional prescription spray keeps him in good shape. Smells okay and makes his hair soft and shiny.

I ordered this for my corgis, one of which is a rescue that has demodectic mange, seborrhea, & a horrible skin infection as a result. The other 2 corgis were acting itchy, as well, & I didn't want their gorgeous coats to be ruined!! They had both licked/scratched a sore on their hind foot. After using this shampoo in combination with Davis peroxide shampoo, they both stopped scratching & the sores look better in just 24 hours.The jury is still out on the rescue's issues: we are drawing to a close with the vet's 30 day antibiotic & anti parasitic treatments. She is much better than when we initially got her, but is still far from 100%. I'm hoping this shampoo will give her the edge she needs to really turn the corner: the vet's shampoo just isn't cutting the oil from the seborrhea.

My dog had been itching for the past three weeks and we had tried several different products. We noticed a huge improvement in redness and itching after first bath. We are bathing him every other day and after three baths redness (staining) on face, tummy and armpits is nearly gone. He is down to taking Benadryl once or twice a day now and hopefully after a few more baths he'll be able to stop taking it. He was also having to wear an inflatable collar to stop itching and he hasn't had to wear that since the day after first bath. Coat looks really shiny and healthy and no flaky skin anymore on his back. Highly recommend giving this shampoo a try for your itchy dog.

After taking our beloved VERY old dog to the groomer. We noticed something like clipper burns on his back. After a couple of days....this spread and concern set in. we were told to try this product to see if it may help. What a difference after just one bath!! We gave him one more bath 2 days later and whatever had happened at the groomers cleared completely up. to be safe...we still took him to the vet to make sure and she said he looked great...most like a fungal growth from the burn and possibly not clean clippers. Who knows...but she gave us a clean bill of health and our 18 year old 'pup' is back to being healthy and looking sharp. Thank you!!
