This is a fantastic safety harness! It is easy to put on and take off and my Lacey absolutely loves it. We had been using a Sherpa lined harness but it was not easy to put on and take off, was to hot and even though it was a well made harness, the buckles were inferior and broke. This harness appears to have better buckles and because it is not Sherpa lined, it is much cooler. She likes wearing this harness and I love that it can also be used as a regular harness. I have it attached to a tether which is secured to the front seat headrests in my truck. This harness allows her to sit or lie down on the specially designed dog platform that is secured to the front seat console in my truck. The only thing that I don’t like about this harness, which has nothing to do with the harness itself, but with the size and shape of my Lacey. She is a 18 pound Shetland Sheepdog and has a rather large chest that tapers to a very small waist. In order to get the harness to fit her chest I had to purchase the large size but it was way to big around her To rectify that problem I simply disassembled the rear strap, cut some of the webbing off and machine stitched it back into place. Now it fits her perfectly and I feel so much better knowing that she is securely strapped in and won’t go flying into the dashboard or through the windshield in case of an emergency stop or accident. It’s the perfect harness to protect my baby! Thank you for making such a nice product!

I just received the harness, but I have used Pawaboo harnesses on our dogs since 2017. We keep them in our vehicles, and none have shown any wear.We have big, rambunctious dogs, mostly Labs, who love to see their harness because that means road trip. They quickly wore out faux sheep skin harnesses; strap harnesses were more difficult to adjust and apparently were uncomfortable, as the dogs moved around a lot more and got them twisted. I also worried about the straps hurting the dogs in the event of hard braking or a crash. The Pawaboo harness has a large pad at the chest that I think would help more in an emergency. While it apparently hasn't been crash tested, it's hard to see how it could be improved to help keep a dog safer. The weakest link for any harness might be the strap that typically snaps into a seat belt buckle and attaches at the back. I try to keep that strap adjusted short while still giving the dog some room to move around a little. It certainly will keep your pet from leaping out of the car to pursue that noblest of game animals, the squirrel.Full disclosure: we did hit a full-grown deer at highway speed last spring, a common hazard where we live. The dog in the back seat had no physical injuries, however, he was terrified by the loud bangs produced when the air bags and seatbelt pretensioners deployed. Unfortunately, the deer didn't surviveI have never had difficulty adjusting the Pawaboo harnesses. The adjusting straps, once set, don't slip, and they are a snap (literally two snaps) to put on even a big dog who is jumping around with excitement. I should also mention that the harness works well for for walking your dog, and the leash attachment at the back gives one a lot more control if the dog bolts.Our dogs tend to weigh about 70 pounds and have the deep chests that Labs develop; the XL size seems to fit very well with the two adjusting straps in front at about 1-2 inches from fully extended. So an L might not be big enough for dogs the size of ours. I just tried the new harness on our dog, who came by to see why I was still at my laptop instead of walking him, and it fit perfectly.I would say one can't go far wrong with one of these harnesses; you can certainly pay more if that would increase your pride of ownership.

I’ve only used it once, and overall feel like it would definitely help if the worst happened and we were involved in an accident while our dog Dooley was in the car. We do take him with us quite a bit. He is an Aussie Border Collie mix, and with the measuring chart bought the leg. The vest fits great as long as he doesn’t gain any weight. BUT, the lead that snaps into the seat belt latch is a bit too short. He can’t fully sit upright or even get to the window for air. I have it fully extended, and I will have to add a couple inches to it by clipping another something to the harness. I LOVE that the lead clips into the seat belt receptacle. And, I LOVE that you can just clip a leash to the harness when you get there, and walk him in the harness. It fits him well, and after we use it a few times, I will come back a add to this review.

Never know just how well any “clothing” will fit my frenchies, typically have to alter. This harness could not be altered so it had to fit or not, and it did very nicely. I find it to be very well constructed, solid materials and works great with the seatbelt receptacle in my car. Great value!

My dog is a German shepherd mix puppy, she's currently 36 lbs and I got her the medium. Shell grow out of it, so I'll upgrade down the road but the medium fit her perfectly when I bought it a month ago. Still holding up well!She did great with the seatbelt attachment as well. Both the harness and seatbelt attachment are super easy to use.

This harness is great. This is our second one as Eddy has grown out of the smaller size. It keeps him and us safe in the car and is also great for walks. Workmanship and design is great! Will definitely buy another when and if this one wears out

Quando ho il baule pieno e il mio labrador non ci sta le metto questa pettorina nei sedili posteriori. Sta molto comoda, é rinforzata sul petto x evitare che si faccia male nelle frenate. Consigliata!

Invece di usare le solite griglie separatorie da baule per il trasporto dei nostri amici cani, questa pettorina con attacco per cinture di sicurezza, permettono al quadrupede di stare comodamente sdraiato o seduto sui sedili posteriori senza correre rischi in caso di frenata. Né per lui né per chi sta davanti.Ottimo acquisto, la mia cagnolona si è fatta quasi 2000 km in tutta comodità.

Prodotto ottimo e a basso costo, dopo mesi non si sono ancora rotte!
