Just as Fabulous as All Maya Kaimal Products!
I am a big fan of this product line! My studio in NYC was in what is affectionately called Curry Hill (Murray, but where a lot of great Indian Restaurant restaurants are!) Since moving upstate I have to make it myself and Maya Kaimal Products have been a godsend! This is a great marinade for chicken to barbecue. Her simmer sauces are excellent and authentic ( I have tried them all) and I love the Everyday Daal as a side dish even when I'm not having Indian food. The products have great authentic natural ingredients. I can't rave enough.

Delicious!
Used this as a marinade for chicken, then added some light cream to create a sauce after the chicken baked in the oven. Dished up over rice...heavenly!

Absolutely Tasty: Very mild on flavor and Healthy
We love spices and especially Indian and Latino spices. So we gave this a try as it would save some time to prepare something like this. It is an absolutely amazing, tasty, healthy flavor in our recipe. It is very mild for my liking so I had to add a whole lot more spices in mine. But for most people this would be perfect. There are so many ways to use this marinade, we made some Paneer/Cottage Cheese gravy and some spiced rice to go with it and it came out yummy. Give it a try. 5 Stars.

Healthy marinade....MAYA KAIMAL Creamy Malai & Herb Indian Marinade
Arrived in good condition and pre exp date. Great for marinating and grilling meats or brushing on veggies on skewers. Good flavor. We really enjoyed. Good value.

Pretty tasty and simple option!
I think this could have been better as a large jar of marinade sauce but the 4 pouches aren't bad for portion control and scaling a meal. I made a meal with quite a bit of zucchini and tofu so I ended up using 2 pouches worth for a large meal. I baked the zucchini spears with pepper and onion for a bit and then broiled for a finish which pressed and cubed tofu was in a sauce pan with another pack of marinade. It came out pretty delicious and I thought the flavor was nice and balanced and creamy. The zucchini did come out more 'saucy' because it wasn't grilled and so some of the water in the veggies was released in the dish with the marinade while baking and broiling but I think that ended up helping spread the marinade evenly and helped me feel like I came out with decent meal and little prep and effort to get there.Overall I would get these again to have for a quick but complete meal option but would try to grilling next time. I don't eat meat any more but think this would also be good with chicken!

Tangy and herby, with a very mild level of spice
This marinade offers a tangy and herby flavor, with a relatively light impact compared to the bold tastes that I normally associate with Indian food. It's accurately labelled as Mild, bringing only the gentlest hint of heat, so even the most spice-adverse should have no trouble with this one. The sauce comes in the form of a slightly-lumpy yellowish cream, and each convenient 4oz packets is enough to marinate up to about 1lb of meat/seafood/etc.We tried this marinade on chicken drumsticks, leaving them to soak overnight (the instructions suggest up to 24 hours). After baking, the result was decent but perhaps a little timid for this choice of protein. The herbs and tangy lime juice make for a nice combination, but the serrano peppers were barely detectable, and the flavors stayed mostly on the surface. This marinade probably would go better with lighter meats like shrimp, fish, or other seafood, and that's what we plan on trying next with this sauce after the next trip to the grocery store.Overall, this marinade offers a good combination of flavors, but it doesn't quite have the deepness or complexity that I like most from other Indian dishes. Of course, that's just my personal preference, and those who prefer subtler flavors might enjoy this more. Four stars.

Light on Complexity
Our family likes this MAYA KAIMAL Creamy Malai & Herb Indian Marinade. The package of 4 allowed us to try the marinade with multiple dishes, The complexity was not present for the chicken marinade. We could detect the flavour subtleties when using it with shrimp and haddock. 5 stars for ease of use. Maya Kaimal’s Creamy Malai & Herb Indian Marinade is Vegetarian, Gluten Free and made with Non-GMO ingredients. This marinade is low carb making it Keto-Friendly plus it’s low sodium and does not contain preservatives, unwanted sugar or artificial colors or flavors. I like it but probably would not purchase it again.
