Purchased 8 lb pair and 12 lb pair. Hoping they hold up as well as my older set. Normal to smell like oil but the 12s were especially rough. Guess they won’t be rusting anytime soon

I recently added the CAP Barbell Coated Dumbbell Weight to my home gym, and it has been a fantastic purchase. The build quality is outstanding—it feels very well-made and sturdy, which gives me confidence during my workouts. The handle features comfortable knurling that provides a secure grip without being too rough on the hands. The rubber-coated ends are well-padded, protecting both the dumbbells and my floors from damage. They also help in reducing noise when setting the weights down. One thing I particularly appreciate is how seamlessly it fits alongside my other coated dumbbells, like those from the Amazon Basics brand. The only difference is the font of the weight number, which is a minor aesthetic detail and doesn’t impact functionality at all (knurling seems identical though) Overall, this dumbbell offers great value for anyone looking to enhance their home gym. High quality at a reasonable price—highly recommended!

Could Benefit from a Rubber Grip Sleeve
Great quality and grip is good. It would have been nice to have a rubber grip sleeve. Still would buy again. Good price.
