This is easy to use and after just the first time at the lowest setting I saw less hair growth. After the 3rd time even less and I am still on setting 1.I have no irritation at all.I am not able to use to use it ever other day, more like every 3 days. (It states to use it 3 times a week for the first 1-4 weeks. My hair hasn't grown enough after the 3 use to warrant shaving after 2 days.I really like this!

I had carefully, carefully reviewed a lot of the IPL hair removal devices that in this price range that listed here on Amazon: the item’s description, the customer reviews, comparing it to other similarly priced devices, etc. After reviewing all of that I was excited to receive this and give it a try. I read through the little informational and instruction manual that accompanied the device cover to cover. One of the things that I noticed in this accompanying manual that yes, while the company warrantied this product for a year, the email address to contact them at was just a gmail email address. Hint #1 that this was probably going to be a piece of junk. In the “troubleshooting” section of this manual, at least two of the solutions to two different problems were to turn the device off and then back on again. Hint #2 that this was probably going to be a piece of junk. However I felt like living on the edge and have a high pain tolerance, so I figured, what the heck, and proceeded to plug the device in and turn it on. The device powered on just fine and the LCD monitor was clear and accurately matched the description of it in the manual. So I go to give myself the first “flash” of treatment…AND…nothing! That was Hint #3. I try the ‘flash button’ a few more times with still no results [flash], so like any good troubleshooter does (and like the manual says) I turned the thing off/powered it down, waited a handful of seconds, and turned the device back on/powered it up again. Still no flash. I turned the thing off and on 3-5x after the initial time that I turned it on, and yep…this thing is a piece of junk with STILL no flash! And the device and all of it’s accessories were very obviously brand new and unused as soon as I opened the box up, so I know that I didn’t receive someone else’s defective return. Oh, and also, of course when I go to return the item, this item is no longer being sold by this seller…under this seller’s name anyway. I’m sure that this same device/model is currently still being sold on here under another name. Also when I requested the return through Amazon and saw that getting a replacement for this item was not an option (which tipped me off to the fact that this item is no longer being sold under this seller’s name anymore), I went back to the item’s Amazon page/description page, and lo and behold, the description of this item was different than the description of the item when I purchased it; when I purchased it it was described/advertised as having 999,999 flashes/flash life (which is the number of flashes remaining that was displayed upon the LCD screen when I first powered it on) and the item’s new description says that it has 599,999 flashes/flash life. Go figure!

Realistically, it’s not that great. I bought this to try because I loathe shaving. I am Caucasian with brown hair so according to the instructions am a good candidate for IPL. I have been using the IPL device for 6 months now. I started off three times/week and after about 6 weeks scaled back to twice/week for bikini area and armpits and once/week for legs. At each session I go over the bikini area and armpits 3 times since these are stubborn hairs seemingly determined to take over the world. While for me the promise of “permanent hair removal” has been somewhat of a misnomer, I have noticed the hair growth slowing down. I would be happier if this technology resulted in more success. Every long session including my legs takes 20 minutes, and the short sessions take around 5. The time commitment may not be worth the result, but I’ll keep at it and maybe after a full year I can scale back further.

May be is skin type, but I have been using for a month with no change.

I have had good results and there wasn't any pain with use. It is easy to operate, and the digital display is a nice size.I reached out to Customer Service with a question and received an immediate response. Customer Service was great and even followed up to ensure that all my questions were answered.

I was skeptical about buying this but it’s been a month now and I’m so glad I did! I’m a hairy monster, kids use to call me gorilla in grade school!I’ve had professional laser hair removal and it costs more for one session.My beard hairs, mustache, and arm hair are gone and my legs, under arms, and Brazilian area are almost gone for good!Also the return policy is awesome if you’re on the fence so what are you waiting for…..
