eufy Security SoloCam L20, Spotlight Camera, Wireless Outdoor Security Camera, Battery Camera, Ultra-Bright, 1080p Resolution, Color Night Vision, No Monthly Fee

As a Tech geek I love all the toys but if we are talking about cameras I'm very picky.After 2 months of use, I still did not charge my camera and I use it with flood light motion activated and colour night recording. The battery is still at 63% simply amazing.The Eufy Sec App is ok nothing incredible but simple and works. Notifications are very good. In regards to the video quality it is indeed impressive even when the sun is directly opposite the camera.Night vision is very good and with colour recording your flood light will come up as soon as motion / human is detected. I use it with conjunction with Eufy Door Bell 2k and other Eufy toys - all works great.The storage is 16gb and as it sounds not much it really is not much. This is the only downside of this device and as it does not save the video on your home hub again it does keep around month of recording so not bad at all.Not sure of there is an option for cloud storage for it.Mounting kit is good and easy to install. The initial charge is very long it took me around 6hrs to charge and I did not use fast charger.There is no solar panel for it but there is an option in the app so maybe there I'll be solar panel for it at some point.Access to the camera videos is quite good without much lag, way faster than door bell and the internal WiFi antenna is awesome.Overall for £99 you get camera, flood light and security device all wireless and battery powered with no annoying subscription fee.I waited for almost 2 months to review this toy to get some better feel for it before I recommend it to anyone.I just ordered another one I'm so happy with it, and cannot wait for the solar panel but still charging your camera ever 4months does not bother me at all.Highly recommended

Foe £90 (sale price) a really good bit of kit but with the usual compromise on night quality - though can't complain at the price.So generally don't expect miracles from most non professional cameras for night vision.My Eufy L20 is set to full brightness for the built in led ring and its positioned above an outside lantern ie double lighting at night when motion is detected. With quite good lighting picture is okay (in IR mode) and detection works. Just don't expect sharp footage at night!Daytime picture is pretty good/no complaints. Easily as good quality as ring doorbell 3.People moan about slight delays on receiving notifications or video recording starting - if you opt for a battery powered device there's usually a slight delay for it to detect motion then power up the video recording - this is pretty normal.Speaking of which the battery is lasting really well so far (6 weeks) and still plenty of charge - unlike our ring doorbell which doesn't last too well frankly.Having 8GB storage built into the camera is great, the app works well - downloading recordings to your phone is a doddle thus avoiding monthly charges like the Ring cameras.All in all then great for the price, battery, local storage and ease of use app.

I'm 6 months into having this camera. It was incredibly easy to set up and connect to WiFi. The video quality is fantastic both in daylight and at night time.I bought this specifically to have a motion light near my front door and it is bright and responsive. Only downside is you are unable to set the length of time that the light is on for.The app is very responsive and I appreciate the different options you can set up to suit your use.I have been really happy with this Eufy product to the point that I will consider purchasing their other products in the future.

To begin with this was a satisfactory product. After just a few months the mounting attachment screw which goes into the Solocam started rusting, but after being in touch with Anker, the manufacturers, they have successfully solved the problem. Excellent customer support from them. The camera itself is superb with great pictures even at night, no foxes or deer or cats can pass through my garden undetected.

Great day and night vision. Easy to install and customise the settings. Camera easy to unscrew and recharge with the battery still in it - prefer this feature as other models have batteries that can be easily removed and stolen. The nightlight it bright with a spotlight feature and the alarm is loud enough. The two way mic that let’s you talk to the visitor is nice and clear. The customisable settings are plus as you can set it to face recognition only, so you don’t get notifications for just a leaf blowing by etc…Would highly recommend this product.

The product works well and easily integrated into my Eufy setup. The camera picture is clear day and night. I own several other Eufy products and this matches their quality. The camera is heavier and larger than I expected I’ve been worried to leave it outside when we’ve had recent storms. Sure it’s fine for general wind/ rains etc.

OK, I get it. This is a nice , simple, wireless camera. The bracket is fiddly but take your time - its fine BUT ENSURE YOU MOUNT IT HIGH ENOUGH SO IT CANNOT BE STOLEN. Why? Because there's no remote storage option. Not even one you can pay for so. So all the recordings are on the camera. If the camera's stolen - there are no recordings to view. Battery looks good, resolution is just ok.

Dopo aver "indagato" molto su youtube su quale fosse la migliore cam di sorveglianza, ho scelto questa.Totalmente personalizzabile, il fascio di luce lampeggia quando scatta l'allarme sonoro, in modo che l'eventuale malintenzionato venga continuamente abbagliato.Ottima visione notturna (seppur sia possibile impostare l'accensione del faro automatica ogni volta che qualcuno passa davanti), ottimo motion detector.Si installa senza fili, la batteria dura tantissimo (dopo due mesi ha ancora 2 tacche su 5), l'unico problema sarebbe, nel caso di ladri, la possibilità che prima di entrare nell'abitazione stacchino la luce: questa videocamera di sorveglianza funziona con il wifi, emetterebbe comunque ancora i suoni e la luce, registrerebbe ancora il video, ma non avvertirebbe il telefono del proprietario.Come risolvere? Semplicemente acquistando un gruppo di continuità e collegandolo al modem/router.L!Spero di essere stato d'aiuto!

Hab mir zwei davon bestellt und überwache damit unseren Garten / die Terrasse, wenn wir nicht zu Hause sind bzw. auch nachts. Helles Flutlicht, gutes Bild, schlägt gut an bei Erkennung von Menschen. Akku kann ich noch nichts sagen, zeigt seit 3 Wochen VOLL. Das einzige was ich mir noch wünschen würde, wäre eine HomeKit Integration. Warum macht das Eufy nur bei manchen Kameras?

Das Produkt ist solide verarbeitet, die Kamera arbeitet einwandfrei, bis auf kleine Einschränkungen punkto Bewegungsmelder, bzw Menschenerkennung.
