Awesome stuff. Could be just a little darker but still love the color
So to start off, this 3D general FDE polylite PLA pro is pretty amazing and I’m about to buy my 3rd&4th rolls. Dimensional accuracy is slightly better than .05mm where I checked but I didn’t take pictures of my gauge and only checked twice during 1 long (34hr) print about halfway through the roll. It’s got great properties all around, including both impact resistance and rigidity. It’s flexible but still very stiff. I haven’t tested the heat resistance, although it’s not something I’m terribly worried about. It’s super easy to print with and it prints really well with great layer adhesion, some slight warping on steep overhangs and really thin areas if you don’t use fans. I used 30-50% fans and printed relatively slow for anything too crazy and was virtually warp-free. I probably could’ve printed faster tbh but I prefer quality over speed. (The brace and hand stop were printed on an sv06 using the default prusaslicer speed settings with default dynamic overhang speeds and fan at 40% bridges at 100% and they printed perfectly. The only time I had any stringing at all was about a week into using the roll without drying it. I dried it for 6hrs at 55°c in a sunlu dryer box and it was good to go again. So I do recommend keeping it dry or drying it periodically, as it shows more hydrophilic tendencies or symptoms than other PLA plus filaments I’ve used. It has an incredibly awesome matte/flat finish that’s really hard to get with most other PLA plus filaments (that’s probably my favorite feature of this filament tbh), and the color is really great although it’s more of a desert tan than FDE in my opinion. I guess desert tan could be considered a shade of fde these days with how many different shades there are lol but it’s fairly light. All in all it’s absolutely awesome and I’ve almost completely switched over from eSun (except for a couple amazing colors that eSun does best like the olive green *chef’s kiss* and their grey is awesome too). Still giving 5 stars even tho I wish the color was more of a true FDE. Can’t beat the printability or material properties. And that matte finish tho 🤌👌

Amazing
I've been using Hatchbox PLA, eSUN PLA+, and ELEGOO Plus for the last few years, but I saw a few posts on reddit saying how much better Polymaker PLA Pro is and decided to give it a try. I'm happy to say that the hype was well-deserved. It's by far the best filament I've ever tried. I primarily print small D&D minis with my Ender 5 and when I compare a mini made from Polymaker PLA Pro vs any of the other brands I listed above, the Polymaker PLA Pro minis are stronger with less stringing and a little more detail than any of the other options. The layer adhesion is notably better with a much smoother and clean finish. Because the layer adhesion is so strong thin parts that usually bend or break during printing come out clean and strong. For me, that means I can print minis with thin legs or small tools and they not only come out looking great but have enough strength to be handled. Many of my minis have scales or chainmail and other tiny details that used to be washed out, but now all the small details are there. Some minis have spears or sharp spikes and those used to come out slightly rounded and blunt, using the playmaker they come out so sharp I have to dull them a bit. Usually, I print minis at 130% size so all the details come out, but with this filament, I can print them at their standard size. This saves me a ton of time and filament and the minis are still stronger and less brittle than the other brands I've tried. If I'd known how much better my minis would be I would have been buying this stuff from the start. It's slightly more expensive, but it quickly pays for itself when you have no failures and your prints are strong enough that they don't need to be reprinted. I'm not sponsored or anything, it really is that much better and has really upped the quality of my minis. 10/10

Really strong and prints nice, does have some smell to it though
I have mainly used PETG for a long time but wanted to try out PLA Pro. So far I really like it and can see it replacing PETG for me for anything that does not need high temp resistance or UV resistance. It really is very strong. One of the things that surprised me the most is that with PLA Pro, you get similar layer-to-layer bonding strength as PETG. For instance when printing parts that have to flex across a layer line, you can always count on regular PLA to just snap right at the layer line, whereas PETG will not do that. This PLA Pro is similar to PETG where the bonds between layers are so good and there is enough flex to it that it does not easily snap apart at layer lines. PETG prints often turn out a little ugly just due to the nature of PETG being a little runny, goobery, and stringy. With this being PLA, the end results are often prettier than what you can achieve with even a really nicely tuned and dried PETG. Especially for more complex models. Overall I am really impressed by this filament. The only downsides are of course the low temp resistance, low UV resistance, and the smell when printing. Although the smell is not terrible, it definitely stinks worse than regular PLA or PETG. There is a quite strong maple syrup scent that kind of tickles the back of your throat in an unpleasant way if you stand near the printer. It dissipates pretty easily though and doesn't seem to build up in the room. As long as you are not right next to the printer, it is not too bad. Overall PETG is still probably my favorite filament, but there is no denying that this gets pretty darn close to PETG in strength and often delivers a finer looking end result than PETG can.

This is the best filament I have ever used
I have been printing for over 10 years and have used all the "best stuff" as that changed throughout the years. I have also spent a lot of time dialing in to different petgs which is a nightmare at times. I recently began printing some parts that needed superior strength and rigidity. This ruled out pla and petg, I considered asa or poly but those have challenges in getting a good print and need to be printed on polycarbonate plates, which requires me to use another printer besides my prusa, but I love my prusa 🤣, not that I don't love my other printers. Anyway, I ran across someone recommending this polymaker stuff and thought I would give it a go. I started with a prusa pla profile and made a couple tweaks and tried it out. My first print was gorgeous, beautiful layer lines and pretty easy to dial in first layer height and temp etc. Hotter temps tended to cause issues with corners curling on small squares, but dialing it back cured that, I settled on 200-210 and that works well. I had to adjust my extrusion flow rate for each color, they are not all the same so keep that in mind. Over extruding of course will cause issues with dimensional parts and this filament exaggerated it for some reason, but keep the temp reasonable and extrusion at the lower limit and you will get amazing parts. Here is where I had trouble, the filament is so strong and so cohesive that supports suddenly became a permanent piece of the part. It is hard to even cut with a knife, and sanding is not as effective as regular pla so the durability bites you in that regard. I had to take my xy spacing for supports from 50% to 75% and z spacing to .2mm. This eliminated my drooping lines (similar to what petg likes to do) and made the supports pull off often in one solid piece leaving a very clean part behind. With these little tweaks you will have great success with this filament and I swear it's near bulletproof. It has a soft feel in your hand but great rigidity and feels almost like an injection molded part, not ceramic like some pla. If I had to quantify it I would say it's 80% pla and 20% petg, not that it really is, but that's what it performs like. I highly recommend it and I don't think I'll ever buy anything else, bubbye hatchbox!!! Ps, I love the idea of a recyclable spool, but HATE IT in execution, if I could I would rewind it onto an old plastic spool. The spool gets bent and drags, it leaves cardboard shreds in the spool holder, it has a lot more resistance to rotating than a plastic one so I feel a poorly made or tuned extruder may slip while feeding. That is one thing that bothers me, but I guess I'll just have to deal with it cuz I love the filament.

Great Filament
Very nice PLA. This is my first time printing with this PLA. I am very pleases with the performance of this PLA. Shipping was fast and it was packaged well. The spool was tightly wound with not tangles and worked smoothly on my Prusa MK4S machine. I used standard PLA settings and the prints came out perfect. Was very happy with the quality of the prints. I really like the dark Gray color as it match my bike perfectly. Will purchase again.

Strong PLA filament with reliable print quality
The Polymaker PLA PRO 1.75mm filament prints smoothly and delivers parts that feel tougher than standard PLA. Layers bond well, overhangs print clean, and the finish has a consistent matte look that gives projects a professional appearance. It feeds reliably without tangles or jams, and I’ve had consistent diameter across multiple rolls. Prints hold up to stress better than basic PLA, making it a good choice for functional parts and prototypes. I’ve used it regularly for business production, and the quality has been dependable with every order. It works well with Bambu Lab A1/P1S. Sealed in an airtight bag with a desicant inside. Ready to print, no need to dry before printing. Great value for the price!

This is the Army Green you are looking for, prints and looks great
EDIT: I recently tried the Blue-Green version of PolyLite PLA Pro and found that the filament is extremely rough, almost like sand paper. I expect the PLA Pro to not be as smooth as other filaments, but this is unacceptable. The Filament printed fine and is a great color, with one exception - The roughness will cause problems if your 3D Printer is using a bowden tube system with PTFE tubing, it will not feed properly through a full bowden system. I'm using a MK4 in a Original Prusa Enclosure and thankfully I'm not using their prescribed bowden system. I only use a small 3cm piece of PTFE Tube to bring the filament inside the enclosure from above. The printer had a hard time completing the homing operation, even with just the 3 cm piece of PTFE. I'll likely remove the 3cm piece of PTFE whenever I use this filament, for that reason. I'm hoping that this was just a fluke, and not normal for PolyLite PLA Pro Blue-Green. I'd suggest a little more attention to detail in Polymaker's QA/QC process. I'll leave my 4-stars for now, but if I get another spool like this one, that will change. This review is for PolyLite PLA Pro Army Green: The roll arrived very neatly wound, shrink wrapped in a resealable bag. I'm using a Prusa MK4 and printing this filament at 220C with 1.2 mm retraction length with a retraction speed of 40mm/s. I printed a 3D Benchy and was very pleased with the results, I'd say they were nearly perfect with a great Army Green color. If you are looking for a quality filament for your Army style prints, look no further than PolyLite PLA Pro Army Green.

Great stuff for my flashforge printer
For whatever reason my printer really likes this stuff. I have a flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro, am new to 3D printing, and so I am not very familiar with all the settings and stuff and mostly just print everything with the stock settings. While most filament prints good, some sucks, this stuff prints like amazing every single time, so far it prints better than even the flashforge brand PLA which is way more expensive. Price wise this stuff is about middle of the road which is great too. If you have a flashforge printer you absolutely need to get some of this filament. Be aware though that some of the pictures of the colors on here make it look like the filament is kind of metallic but it is not at all. Primarily the dark blue and the dark green/blue colors, which I love the colors but was a bit dissatisfied once they came to find out they are just normal matte colors with no metallic finish at all.
