I’ve been searching in stores walmart/target etc. for awhile now but with no luck. I’ve been wearing over the calf socks since 1989 when I started using steel toe shoes for work. I hate when my socks ends up all bunched up in my shoe during the day. I always could find over the calf socks in my local stores up until last year. I am so glad I found this gold toe socks. I read the reviews on the other brands and decided to try these. I am very happy with my choice. It’s exactly what I wanted. Well made, nice and thick (not cheap and flimsy) the elastic is strong and hugs my calves and ankles. Another plus that I didn’t ralize before is I always got the tube type style, because thats all that the local store had but these are designed didderently. Like the foot part is like a regular sock then it turns up from the ankle all the way up to over the calves. It make a world of difference in the way it fits. I never thought that there was a difference but there is. Anyways I am a happy camper and I will definitely continue to order this socks again. Side note: I like to order at least 15 pairs so I can use and rotate them as to not over use just 6 pairs. I usually last me a whole year then I buy a whole new batch again for the next year. It’s amazing the simple things in life can bring so much joy. New socks, new underwear, new pair of work jeans and a pair of new work shoes sure makes the work day so much more pleasant.
