Y'all!! Know how it feels when your favorite series is over ? The sadness...the emptiness?? Yes ....that's how I felt when this book ended. Kent Taylor was an amazing man and business expert. This book was so good. So good.

I learned about Kent Taylor from a Motley Fool interview he did a couple of years back. He came off like an interesting character who knew the ins and outs of the restaurant business. Perhaps one of the most difficult businesses to be in. I ended up buying this book because my local library did not have a copy of it.Overall, if you've read these type of business/leadership biographies, you can pick up on the same themes and lessons from others. That's not this book's fault, there's only so many lessons available. But it's clear the guy lived his life doing what he loved. I haven't been to a Texas Roadhouse but if I get the opportunity, I'll check it out.

My son works for Roadhouse and I always that it was a cool place. For some strange reason a sample of the book popped into my feed from somewhere unknown. I couldn’t put it down. What a great guy to lead a huge business and still retain a family atmosphere. Must read. Only sad spot is that he is gone.
