How long do these tubes last, there is no expiration date?

They last for a long time. I got my a couple of years ago and still using it!

Can this be applied near mucus membranes, such as a dog's muzzle near the nostril?

I don’t believe so. It has a very strong ordor. I do not recommend that

Will this help with rain rot on horses?

Anykind of horse shampoo with tea tree oil in it will work. Put shampoo on back lather up real good let’s sit 10 or 15 minutes and rinse

what are the ingredients?

I would refer you to the tube or the manufacturer.
