Exactly what I needed

Did the trick
Was able to connect my old Bose Wave to my Smart TV using the digital optical and analog 3.5mm connectors. IMPORTANT: MAKE SURE YOU PLUG THE USB CONNECTOR INTO YOUR TV AS WELL!
