Does the job but not perfect
Ordered this as needed to replace my damaged original Peugeot key fob (I have long nails so have managed to poke a hole on one of the buttons, which made locking the car very tricky for anyone else!)This replacement was a tight fit for the key bar (managed to get it in, but it was tricky!), the little chip that works the immobiliser is a slightly different shape to the gap in the replacement cover and the top doesnt quite meet the bottom cover despite the screw being in as tight as I could get it.Overall, it is not as good quality as the original, but for the price, I am not going to complain. It does the job and the issues I found are not a big deal!

Works but key blade doesn’t feel very secure
It was quite easy to swap the chip, circuit board, and blade from the old case into this one. The price is good, but my only complaint is that it doesn’t hold the metal blade very securely. It’s probably not going to fall out as the screw that holds the case together goes through it, but it does wobble side to side, which didn’t happen with the OEM case.

Perfect
Did the job lovely. Just remember to swap the immobiliser chip across..

Faulty key fob
Unfortunately when I changed over from my key fob to the new one, I was able to unlock the central locking, however when I put the key in the ignition the car wouldn't turn over, in other words it wouldn't start!! Luckily I had not thrown away my existing key fob. I paid a visit to my local Halfords to see if they might be able to help, but the same thing happened. it was suggested that the fob needs to be programmed, this would cause a problem as there was nothing in the envelope to indicate this.I am very disappointed as the cost of the fob was not expensive but with the postage I paid in excess of £11, but the seller said it would be free postage!!I don't think I will be ordering from this seller again.

Remember to swap the Immobiliser over!!
I was so proud of myself taking my old key apart and swapping to the new one. Went to use it the next day and it wouldn’t start. Called the AA, we went over everything. I hadn’t swapped over the immobiliser chip from the old key (you could barely see it), the lovely AA man did this for me and hey presto all good. Maybe a little warning on the bag or instructions would be good? Other than that it’s study and works perfectly now! Lesson learnt!

Your car might not start
I bought this because one of the buttons had fallen off an old key fob.I came across a few issues.1. The shape isn't exactly the same as my old key, it's a few mm wider and doesn't fit perfectly together.2. The buttons are too stiff, pressing them to unlock the car you don't get the usual "feedback" of pressing a button, although it does seem to depress the button underneath.3. My car wouldn't start after switching over to the new fob, I couldn't for the life of me figure out why, but something in one half seems to keep it working, be it contact with the key / something else I couldn't say, either way the only way that worked for me was to have half of one key fob and half of the other - works for me after some filing, might work for you.Generally / works I guess, I'll put up with it, but I'd prefer it if it were better, cheaper than a locksmith to reprogram a new key / or an official key fob.
