Carhartt Men's Hickory Stripe Shirt Denim Quarter Zip

I was very much looking forward to this shirt arriving in the mail. At first glance it looks like the typical Carhartt quality. I bought it because I love the quality of Carhartt products. I have Carhartt gear that survived my house burning to the ground. The quality of this shirt is a joke. After the first washing it came out of the dryer with a rip in the fabric. The rip is no larger than a dime, but because it runs in same direction as the fabric, it's only going to get larger, not smaller as I continue to use the shirt.I spent $40 for this shirt and all I get is it good story to tell at work about what products to avoid.Update:It took almost a month but Carhartt finally sent a replacement shirt. It was the wrong size...so it gets sent back. I called their service department. The woman there was very nice and said she would expedite the exchange. It has been 4 days and they have not sent a shipping label via email yet. A shirt I bought in early October may finally be here by early January.And the Odyssey continues... it's been over a week now still have not heard from Carhartt. I gave them a call, only to find that they didn't have my correct email address. Here's an irony, I I have been getting an email from them every single day... And unsubscribing almost has often. So, I can't get them to stop using my correct email address, and I can't get them to use my correct email address. The damn thing is I still like their products. i love this very durable shirt. the fit was spot on, and it's very tough material holds up well to my puttering around.i wish that more or solid colors were available.because of the heavier fabric, it does get very warm very quickly. i'd call this more of a 3 season shirt, and just park it in a dresser for the summer.if they made a lighter-weight version, i'd get that one too.cigars don't burn through it, stains don't show up readily, and dogs don't wrinkle it. i couldn't be happier.

My husband is a logger and is really tough on his clothes. This shirt retains it shape and sizing through countless washings, holds up to equipment repairs, getting covered in tacky lube, constant rainy downpours and heavy outdoor use. The metal zipper outlasts even the fabric on this shirt. His radio fits perfectly in the pocket and the antennae pokes out of the slit in the pocket flap as though it was custom-made for this purpose. Couldn't ask for a better shirt. Worth every penny!

I like it, but may return it. The XL is too broad in the shoulders and looks sort of bad. I'm going to wash it and dry it to see if it will shrink enough to fit better. I'm afraid the L would be too small. Maybe I'm the one who's the wrong size - but I'll know more after washing it. If it's still too large I'll see if Amazon will allow me to return it.Other than being a bit too large, the shirt is of very high quality.

Really awesome shirt. I wear it all the time. It looks dressy enough to wear to work and I've got a lot of compliments. And on top of that the material is thick fabric and I can use this when I go into the woods or when I am outside working. Really great shirt, I hope they come out with additional colors. Like all Carhartts it is a little big but it feels and looks great.

I bought this for my husband as he works in the timber industry he tends to tear through clothing. I am pleased to see that he's been wearing this hickory off and on for about two weeks and it's still in excellent condition a few minor stains (that really can't be avoided) it's thick, durable material. I will be ordering more in the near future another thing I like is its actually long enough length with out having to order tall most of the time we run into the problem of them being short.

I bought this for my son. He is a works out a lot and his big biceps. Based on a review on here I bought the medium. He tells me it fits well however once he washes it it will be too small. He will be dry cleaning it so he still has it to wear. I will buy this shirt again. I finally have him in something other than a carhartt sweatshirt!

Runs large. Mostly too long lengthwise. I'm 5'8" 165. I ordered a medium and first wash on very hot. It shrank a little but not enough. The sleeves are perfect length as well as shoulders, but still a bit long. I saw a size small on another guy about my size and it was too small on him. sleeves were too short but the torso length was perfect.
