Smartwool Women's PhD Ski Medium

I've been buying smart wool socks for the last 6 or 7 years. I have been happy with the make and quality. This is the first pair I have bought in the US and they are shorter than my existing pairs. So they sit annoyingly at almost 3/4 of the way up my calf. I'm not tall 5'6". A real shame

These do perfect at padding my shin in ski boots and keep my feet warm during my 3 hours on the slopes of a resort in Michigan with smaller hills. I think my feet would get cold if I wore them longer than 3 hours or places with more fresh powder than fake snow. So I wouldn’t get medium going out to CO or something.

I have been wearing SmartWool socks to ski in for years. These are the perfect sock, they'll keep you warm as well as cousin your shin from anything/. Highly recommend

Warm sock that don’t strangle my large calves.

Wonderful, warm, and extra padding to protect your shin from the ski boot. It is snug, but I know that’s part of the design. However if you have larger calves, it may be too tight.

these were just great for a cold day outside. Really kept my feet warm. They are soft and feel great.

This is the second pair of these socks I have purchased. I use them for road cycling. They stay put and keep my feet/legs warm.

I am only a size 8, with slim legs and I found these very tight on my calves. Although warm, I opted to wear other socks which were cheaper and just as good. Waste of money.

I purchased these as borrowed smart wool socks for skiing at -18 degrees. They are the best ski socks I have had. My feet are always cold however they kept my feet warm throughout the day. Would highly recommend.

I used these great wool socks when kayaking in Northern Europe or during winter. Just remember to follow washing instructions.

I always have cold feet when we go skiing, this year wore these in temperatures -10 and they were brilliant
