Good product overall, however, there are a few things that you must know:1. It has a lot of functions and personalization options, but the user manual only mentions a few of them. Even more, the programming app on the NVR has several hidden functions. For example, it has an option to send you email alerts, but I still have not been able to make it work.2. Human detection works, but it sometimes give you false alarms, so you must tweak it through some trial and error. Of the four cameras, one that was on my yard kept giving me false alarms, I found out that I had some tubes that at night for some reason the camera thought it was a human, so I had to exclude that area from detection. Then I got a spider web on an indoors camera, and it also thought it was a human. So you must keep an eye on that.3. The alarm is not very loud, but it is annoying enough.4. You only need to use the supplied Ethernet cables to connect the cameras with the NVR because the kit supports POE, which is great to make a discrete and easy installation without having to make electric connections to the cameras.5. Video quality is very good.6. Night vision is very good, so I have disabled the flood light for the indoors cameras because it was annoying and not really necessary. You can set schedules though for the alarm and lights to work when detecting humans.7. You do not need to pay for any additional subscription for it to record video, watch it remotely or human detection alarms.Overall it is a very good kit.

Over all for the price it seems decent enough ($225 nvr and 4 cameras). It hasn't been to bad of a learning curve for most of the setup but i cant for the life of me figure out why it doesn't play the audio from the camera when I have it turned on in the app. Using it as an intercom was one of the things selling points for me choosing this option and while the recordings pickup the audio fine for some reason the app just wont play it for me. I can how ever speak to the camera threw the app. very strange. Over all though id recommend this as some affordable cameras for a home or even small business. *note only had the thing for a few hours so far, will update later.**update* Got 2 of the cameras mounted and they work ok, also figured out my sound was off on the phones audio which is why the intercom was an issue before. The loading time for the app to open a single cameras feed is rather bad. Feels like 15-75 seconds range. I doubt anyone at the door would wait anywhere near that long for a response. Still the features seem to work so ill leave my rating at 4*

I've had mine running for 10 months and zero problems. i use xmeye pro (play store) to view remotely...Does anyone know if you can access it from pc? Camera system is on my network for remote view

I ordered this security camera system for my business. I spent a lot of time searching online for a camera system with two way audio, a wide angle view, good night vision and outdoor capability. This camera system is all of the above and more and at a very reasonable cost. Video quality, including night vision, is good. The system has motion detection and alarm and the ability to control the lighting and perform playback on app. The mobile app itself is pretty straightforward to use and it works well. So far I'm very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend.

I bought this camera system to have a way to monitor our beach house. for the money you can't go wrong.I had it set up and the wires ran in about an hour and a half. I would have been quicker but I took my time hiding the wires.This camera system is great. it connects easily and I was able to set up the remote viewing very quickly. the quality is perfect for my needs. I can now quickly check in on my house without having to drive 3 hours.I have a camera system at home that cost 3x the price of this one and honestly I like the setup of this one better an don't notice any difference in quality. highly recommended

I have been having a lot problem in my neighborhood since the holiday season started with people taking my packages so I want to get a security camera system that I could install myself with a month subscription these camera are amazing and works awesome crystal clear video of you want a nice security camera system these are a must have

I had high hopes for these cameras, however after configuration of the cameras it became evident that they do NOT support 4k resolution. I am a network engineer and am well versed on IP cameras. They are not even technically 2k resolution. These are 3 megapixel and by definition, 2K resolution is 4 megapixel. True 4k cameras are 8+ megapixel. These are 3 megapixel!I don't understand how they can get away with advertising as 4K when they literally aren't even 2K. I spoke with their tech support and they are going to file a report on the advertisement of these cameras.The other major complaint is that the four ethernet cables of 70 ft length are complete garbage. They are all crushed and rolled up which will guarantee signal loss and degradation. I have never seen ethernet cables with only four twisted pair in them. Standard cat 5 Ethernet cables are eight twisted pair.This product is extremely misleading. The cameras themselves and features are pretty cool (hence the 2 star review) but FAR from the product resolution that was advertised. I have a feeling that most people don't even realize what they are getting here. I have these scheduled for return/refund.
