If you have not noticed the species name in the listing title, this is NOT *V. Thapsus*. This type of mullien is NOT the kind traditionally used in herbal medicines and smoke blends. This is Orange Mullien, not Great Mullien. Other than that, the package I recieved was filled to almost bursting with decent quality mullien with very little stem. The herb was rather dry and even somewhat crispy, but that can be easily remedied. As is, the mullien is too chunky to use in a smoke blend (what I bought it for). So unless you are willing to put in some extra effort and don't care that this is the "wrong" kind of mullien, I would not recommend buying this for smoke blends.

This tea is great mucus.

I like this product very much, especially since it is organic. The tea bags go fast whereas the loose leaves stretch further. Just put the amount you want into a tea ball and let it steep for 15 min. in water that has been brought to a boil and removed from the heat. I usually fill one side of a tea ball with 3 TB leaves, for 4 cups water.

This stuff is gross. I normally harvest and preserve my own but we ran out so had to buy some. The bag was full of sticks, pieces of bark, what looks like hay and tons of stem. Definitely not just mullein leaves. Very roughly crushed, had to send it through my own grinder. Organic, maybe. Usable, not really.
