I have been using semi rigid (plastic) feather boards and they work ok. I saw this on the internet and decided to try them out. the BOW feather board is so much nicer that my plastic feather boards. The stiff foam holds the wood in place very securely and yet allows the wood to move very smoothly. The product is very well made and features large easy to use adjusting knobs. I liked the knobs so much I bought an extra set to add to my other table saw accessories.
