They work well with my android phone. Very nice to attach to the kids bikes, luggage when traveling, school backpacks, sports bags etc... the batteries seem to last about a year and are replaceable. You have to get the tile app from the play store. It is very easy to set to and use, you don't need to be a techie, it just walks you through the instructions and then you can do a test to make sure you are connected. I wrote a number on each physical tile so I would know which tile on my app it connected to. It's in real time and doesn't give you the exact location unless you are in close proximity then you can press a button and make the tile beep so you can find it easily inside a building or somewhere nearby.
