It is the right size for us, plus looks good.

I haven't tried this as a warming tray for food yet. It generates sufficient heat that I have no doubt that it will do the job.I'm using the warming tray to provide a heated surface to soften wax crayon and colored pencils for coloring. This puts more pigment on paper with vibrant colors. It's not melting crayons, but softening the outer surface for smoother application.

Some comments were that the lowest temp was too hot. A light comes on at lowest temp. But I noticed before the light comes on, the plate gets slightly warm. you can still have the plate warm before the light comes on and that allows for a warm setting. Hope that makes sense.

Bought this to use for a Shabbat/Sabbath warming tray to keep a big pot of Cholent(bean soup) warm over the 25 hour Shabbat period. The soup was just as warm the 25th hour as it was during the first part of the period. Very responsive customer service. Unit arrived with a damaged control knob and they sent out a replacement very quickly. Highly recommend.

The seller is AWFUL and texted me that the product was defective, and to make another choice. However, the seller sent the defective device to me anyway. It didn’t work. Don’t waste your time with this seller. They took forever to refund.

I wanted to love this warmer. After all it is red and a great size!! However I returned one for what I felt was a faulty dial, and the 2nd one behaved the same. The light came on and off intermittently, and not consistently. Returned for a different warmer ultimately.
