Urban Legend Trilogy

As usual, Amazon have transferred reviews of former releases of these films on to this one, so let's be plain. 88 Films have released another great box set which it is a pleasure to own. "Urban Legend" is, of course, the best film here by a long way. Everything came together for this one: a keen, young director with a clear understanding of what makes a great horror film, a witty script and a cast of established or soon-to-be-famous actors throwing themselves into the story. It's a "modern" classic. "Final Cut", on the other hand, is a mess. The story makes little sense, the acting is poor and it's not frightening. If anything, it's tedious. "Bloody Mary" is a step up, thanks to the commitment of "Pet Sematary" director Mary Lambert. It's fast-paced fun. Some of the special effects are not so special and Kate Mara's reaction to the death of a loved one seems more like she got a disappointing exam result, but it's definitely one I'd watch again. Lots of bonus features (many of them new) and beautiful packaging.

Exactly what i wanted, arrived promptly

Love the 1st 2 films and not having seen the 3rd gave this a look at.Do not waste your money on the trilogy as Bloody Mary is just awful.Only gave it 3 stars due to 1st 2 films
