can this be used with resin?

I don't know. I used it with water, glitter and glycerin to make a crystal ball prop.

Can this item, once filled with water and made into a snowglobe, travel by air? I am worried that the air pressure might cause it to leake

I sent one already filled with water to my grandson in another state and did not say that it leaked.

I bought this and the included snow floats. How do I make it fall? We added 3tsp glycerin to the distilled water to nearly fill the globe.

You have to shake it a bit. Good luck.
