Just so you know
This Plexiglass is great. Being plex glass I expected the size to be exactly as stated, 12" x 12" however it is 11 11/16ths x 11 14/16th. This is man mad plastic so it can be cut exactly.

New Ride panels!
I work in an amusement park in Eastern PA. A few of our ride operator panels were old, faded, cracked, and looking pretty bad. Ive purchased 3 of these sheets (Blue, Green, Red) for three different rides. They cut and drilled nicely for the switches and buttons I had to install. Panels look light years better now with the new Plexiglass, buttons, and labeling. Very satisfied

Great plastic at a great price!
After searching the website of a local plastics place, I decided to see how much plexiglass was on Amazon before trying to find the time to get to the store in the middle of the day. This was priced cheaper and for more, so I figured it was worth the risk to buy a couple sheets and see how it turned out. This is awesome. It's durable, the plastic cover is well stuck, so there's no accidentally removing it, which is perfect.A little info for those who don't deal with plastic like this much:- It scratches. It's plexiglass, not real glass. It scratches if you don't use a damp cloth to clean it or if you run something across it. If you're looking for something that won't scratch, I recommend looking for a different type of plastic.- You need to use masking tape as well as the plastic cover if you want to be 100% certain to keep the plastic in tact while cutting it and prepping it for your use.- If you don't want the sharp edges after you're done cutting it, sand it with a fine sand paper, then run a torch down the edge. That will smooth it down. Do *not* leave the torch in one place, as it is plastic and that will melt it.My sheets were both 12x12 exact. Overall if you're looking for an inexpensive piece of plastic to do a project with, this will definitely do the trick. If you take your time and take precautions, you will be happy with the end result. If you rush or take shortcuts, you will not be pleased.

Great item easy to cut on laser or by hand
Cutting by hand is tedious. Saber/jig/circular/scroll saw is easy. However on a laser is a easy/peasy and by far the best way to cut. I use a 40w co2 laser. I've easily cut 1 x 1mm pieces. Usually small pieces but some of the illumination engraving illuminations designs are having great outcomes with this product. There is an odor when cutting/engraving at high power - one would have to cut very slow and very high power to get flame. Not sure why one would use that type of setting, but. Obviously air assist (for me) alleviates this issue.. Acrylic will also bend flame etc with high temps. I have not experienced any of the bending or flaming with my use of the product. If I want bending I use a torch and then at times I will get a flame up. I always keep this item from this vendor on hand. No association with seller.

Almost perfect
A very fine, straight scratch across one side. Almost looks like where the protective plastic was applied or seamed. No harm for most purposes as it wasn't visible straight on.
