Initially I buried these so I could mow over them - ineffective to the point it was actually an invite for moles to party on under the lawn. However after placing the spikes 2" deep they have all gone. Don't expect an immediate miracle, it'll take a couple of weeks for them to get the message.

After many months of ‘giving them a second chance’ it is safe to say they are pointless. Yesterday, I walked the garden and saw a mole hill about 10 feet from one of these deterrents. Making sure they were all working, I rechecked again this morning and two more mole hills next to a deterrent! I’ve even had a mole hill form where a deterrent was located, almost pushing it out of the ground. Save your money. They don’t work. Over priced. Battery life following a full day of sun is very disappointing.

Did not deter my mole!

Unfortunately these did nothing to deter the mole/vole in fact it has become more active now and is even digging alongside them . I would like to say that I was delighted when I first received them as they were very sturdy and the noise level was good. We have tried many times to rid ourselves of these pests humanely but I am afraid it isn’t these so a complete waste of money

For the price its done what it said on the tin not a mole to be seen now ive hit them a few times whilst strimming the grass but after this time they are all still working well well chuffed

Bought this product even though from reading the reviews it was 50/50 going to work. I put them in the ground and seems to work fine for a couple of days as i could hear them when I let the dog out. Annoyingly though after that their was a mole hill right next to it, and another few mole hills around the others. It does say they maybe more mole activity when placing these in the ground which i didnt mind as I didnt want to kill them just move them on. However I noticed after a few days that there was no noise? I went over to them and noticed that they had stopped vibrating and making the noise. They had broken! Cant fault the returns procedure though, I sent them back and got a refund straightaway. I have since used what i didnt want to do and got a few traps and within 24hrs I caught him, not had a mole problem since.

Works as should not had an issue since installing them

I bought a pack of 4 similar ones a while ago. In about 4 months 3 of them no longer work, but at least no moles. I bought this pack, a bit more expensive but they look better quality. All 4 are buzzing away, spread around where the more previously appeared a few months ago. Literally within a few days 2 new mole hills appeared right among the buzzers! It almost seems like they are attracting little moley, rather than repelling him. Of course you realise, Mr mole, this means war. Forget these, I'm moving on to traps.

One of the four devices did not work right out of the box. This was disappointing. Two of the devices have worked for 6 months over a mild winter. This was surprising I just put in the fourth device and will be ordering another set. This product is worth trying. It seemed to work for me and I really did not want to use chemicals.

Tried different type of baits (granular and worm-shaped), then repellents (smell and sound) including this "ultrasonic" repellent to rid of moles on my lawn. None was working. Used all four sticks on about 450 sqft of lawn. Utterly ineffective with mole activity coming back every morning. My hearing is not good but yet I and everyone in the household young and old can hear clearly the beeping sound which should be beyond human hearing (ultrasonic). Ended up trying a more drastic measure with a scissor trap and caught the poor criter the next morning. There was only a single mole but it did much damage and activity.

It doesn't work on all gophers (no idea why) but I have used them and it seems to keep most away. I'll use them with smoke type products and it is a good 1-2 punch

I don't think anything will ever deter moles, but these do a really good job. Placed them either directly in or next to the prominent runs, and it seems to keep them away from that area. This was a repeat order, the last ones stayed charged enough the batteries lasted for a good year. Was able to install back in the same hole from the last one. Little on the pricey end, but not too bad I suppose. Well worth it in the long run.
