I have purchased this emulsifying wax a number of times, I generally use it in the lotions and sugar scrubs I make for my small business (I'm a one-woman show) and I have NEVER been disappointed in how they turn out. It melts and incorporates with the butters and oils I use seamlessly. When adding the water phase to my formula the two blend flawlessly and my lotions come out with a beautiful texture but never greasy! In the shower when mixed with water the sugar scrub forms a delicious creamy soap-free lather that moisturizes. I am very pleased with it and proudly support the ethics aspect as well.

I've used this for emulsified sugar scrubs, shampoo bar, a few different things. I've been happy with my purchase. I'm mainly happy with the price. I don't need to purchase from a particular soap supply company.

This is the second time I have purchased this emulsifying wax. I am very pleased with it. Performs as it should.

Completely surprised by how well this worked! I used it in my DIY skin butter lotion. After heating & blending my 12 & 12 (ounces) oil & water concoction in a double boiler, I added ¼ cup of this, waited for it to completely dissolve, then blended on low setting. I removed from heat and placed the inner pan (the one containing my potion) in a bowl of cold water and continued stirring by hand with a spatula. It mixed and solidified beautifully and I now have a usable skin potion that doesn't feel greasy and absorbs extremely well. I followed advice I read online somewhere that said a little can go a long way. Most advice offered a 1:4-5 ratio but I went with 1:12 figuring I could always add more if needed. I found I did NOT need more. I also found that thickening occurred more gradually and consistently the longer it cooled while hand stirring. Given the amount of this product received, it will certainly last a while and make my DIY potions cost effective. 10 stars if I could!
