We had shelving built on both sides of our fireplace in a room addition built in 1992, but never had any good results with lighting them up. Not a lot was available at that time so we have used track lighting to light the shelves these past 30 years, but it did nothing to showcase the beautiful oak shelves or their contents until our son purchased this lighting in his home recently. We were so impressed with the look he achieved and even more so with the fact that the lighting could be cut and there were many connectors available for nearly any application a person would need. After contemplating our need to light up a LARGE area of shelving on each side of our fireplace my husband purchased the appropriate lighting lengths, connectors, transformers and remotes and we were on our way. The lighting is dimmable and has multiple choices on the remotes and the adhesive stuck perfectly and the light strips integrated perfectly into our shelving area.It is without a doubt one of the greatest improvements we have added to our home and certainly to our family room and shelving. I love changing the brightness levels, the remote is fabulous and so easy to understand and use. The lighting is beyond compare and has lit our shelves so beautifully. EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING on the shelves is illuminated so perfectly, it's almost as if we have installed new shelving. There is not ONE negative thing we can say about this lighting application only incredible accolades! It was so inexpensive and we did a large area of lighting! We are LOVING it and know you will too. Please don't hesitate to buy this product. It is more than we could have ever hoped for!

I don’t think I’ll ever buy another string of LED lights unless they’re COB. They’re just so much better and brighter. I used them to make lit frames for my acrylic art prints. The adhesive is strong. I really love the ability to adjust the brightness. I love that they’re actually WHITE and not yellow/green-ish or blue, like you get from RGB lights on their “white” setting. I also appreciate that the corded part is long - I’d say from the connector at the end of the lighted section + the controller cord + the power cord, it’s overall at least 3.5 feet long. The only thing that’s weird is that the controller cord is white but the power cord is black. Will probably buy another set of these lights for my display cabinet

We used for a mirror to back light and worked great. It has lots of settings to chose from.

I love the way it light looks, however I am not able to get the remote to pair. I have tried multiple times but still unable to get them to pair.

The 16.4 ft. 3000k strings are actually 2700k. If you get a box with one label stuck over another, beware. The top label says 3000k and if there’s one underneath it it’ll say 2700k. The actual light string inside is 2700k. Customer service is very good, but it’s another layer of frustration to deal with. It’s a pain to have to reinstall and redo the connections because the friggin label is wrong. The lights seem good and reasonable quality, but just beware that they are not consistent. If you’re using several strings in the same room the difference between 2700k and 3000k is quite noticeable.*UPDATE*While the above stated problem with mislabeled boxes was a hassle, the lighting itself is wonderful. The 3000k spectrum is very warm and very bright. I mean it is very definitely bright enough for proper kitchen task lighting. I am very pleased with the COB technology. Also, as I mentioned above, the customer service from Pautix is second to none. Props to Jamie with customer support. We achieved proper resolution to the problem, which I’m fairly certain was more Amazon’s warehousing ineptness than Pautix’s issue.Based on the actual product, I’m giving it five stars. It is beautiful lighting and great technology and the company stands behind it. What more can you ask.

Perfect lights to add some mood lighting. I added them to the step down to my living room for some ambiance and safety. Very easy to install, the adhesive is perfect, the controller and light options are great. The warm light is a perfect color. I haven't tried connecting different pieces but I did have to shorten it and it gives clear guidance on how to do so in the instructions and it shows you were to cut on the back of the light. It displays as one long strip of light which was important to me

Very nice! Installed 24' length in the food and pan pantry and 16' length in the china cabinet. Wow, what a difference. The remote works very well and the sticky backside is well, sticky.

Love the light, remote, brightness selection and light diffusion.... but the BLACK power cord connnected to withe white connector is a frustration, when hiding the cord in plains sight against a white background has required a creative way to hide it from view. Why a black cord connected to a white connector????? How about white to white?? Plautix on Amazon showed no additional power cord options. Other than that, the product is a great solution to our lighting requirements.

Lo instalé sin intervenir el tocador antiguo ni romper el estilo con focos de tocador al estilo cabina de maquillaje. Siempre tuve dificultad para maquillarme por la falta de luz en la habitación . La foto es con la menor intensidad , pero es sorprendente lo brillante que puede ser , como para iluminar la habitación completa . Muy fácil de instalar , si yo pude ,todos pueden . Muy contenta con la compra .

Just what we are looking for. Under stair handrail lighting for basement project. Power Supply has a cable length of 44" that provides flexibility for installation. Lights operate with or without the dimmer if you want 100% light level. Remote works well that offers 25% 50% 100% or variable setting, about 20 different levels. It has other scene modes with speed adjustments. As we don't need it, didn't spend much time on this... Dimmer remembers its setting even when the light are powered off at the outlet. This is important for us since we are going to feed this light by a stair lighting circuit and switch. Can't comment on adhesion, since we are not ready for installation yet. BTW you can see the individual lights and even more so when not at 100% but higher number of LED lights make it look almost seamless. Again this doesn't impact our application but thought you should know. 5 Stars

Bright light and evenly distributed. I’ve used it close to the wall for indirect lighting and the light looked continuous. Tape is of a good quality. The only problem is the 3 seconds delay. Other than that, great product
