The weight is perfect for even small hamburgers. It is easy to clean because of the grill lines instead of a grid pattern of some others. The handle is super comfortable. Follow instructions on how to maintain it. Just soak the whole thing in water for a few minutes to soften the residue from grilling, then simple rinse the soap off. If you have mineral oil, apply the oil to the surface. Cast iron usually don't rust but it could leave some residue on it. Dishwasher safe, but it is so easy to clean and use, you don't have to use the dishwashing machine. It is made very well.

I have a couple of presses and this one is the largest. It's not pre-seasoned so it had some surface rust on it, but that was easy to knock off with a scouring pad before my first seasoning. Look forward to using it quite a bit.Purchase Recommendation: Yes. You won't be sorry.
