Maison d' Hermine Placemats 100% Cotton Decorative Cloth Place Mat Washable Dinner Placemat, Holiday, Dinner, Wedding & Dining, Christmas Dew - Thanksgiving/Christmas (Set of 4)

The quality of Maison d' Hermine is unquestionably top notch. It is thick as it's double sided. However, i had to iron the placemats after they arrived. I want to use them everyday, but I dread having to launder (they are not spot resistant) and iron them. However, I knew that when I bought them. You cannot put them in the dryer but have to lay them flat. Bottom line: good quality and beautiful, but not "lazy lady" friendly!

Two years ago I was looking for a specific size table cloth. I searched for months both online and in stores with nothing to be found. I contacted Maison d'Hermine to ask if they sold the size i needed. The expressed their regret that they did not. I received an email shortly after letting me know that they could in fact make me one the size I needed regardless of it being outside the sizes they sell. I was ecstatic and shocked to say the least. What company today says no, we don't make what your looking for, then says but we will custom make the size you need?!!! No one except Maison d'Hermine. A couple days later I received an email asking for my shipping address. I was again stunned. I gave them the address and asked what it would cost. I was informed that it was a "gift" and all they needed was my address. Talk about shock! I was so stunned. Of course I gave them my info and was beyond pleased when it showed up, perfect and on time for my Thanksgiving. In a world where kindness seems to be a rare premium, I was reminded that now and again, kindness is shown and given when I least expect it. I have since bought napkins, and placemats. The patterns are beautiful. The material quality is premium, and the kind service is supreme. I will forever have gratitude, and loyalty for Maison d"Hermine.

After washing and drying these lovely place mats I discovered the tags sewn into the edge. The problem is they are sewn in too close to the edge and a thin white line is visible. I tried to cut the tags off, but that is close to impossible since the main tag is made of sturdy fabric and difficult to remove. End result: I only use one side of the place mat and either try to ignore the white line at the edge or throw them out. Sorry, folks, I hate to write a negative review, but perhaps the manufacturer will take note.

These are beautiful. The pattern goes with so many colors of our Fiestaware!My Dad dumped a V8 on one the second day and it washed out fine (I of course ran cold water on it right away and treated with Shout before washing.)I run them through the dryer and they come out perfect for everyday use. I would iron for company.

Art work is lovely and print on back side is as well. However, stains do not wash out in machine. Tiny spot spaghetti sauce on plain area of mat. Cool water rinse off at once. Then into laundry machine warm water. Stain still there. Made a paste with hot water and Oxyclean applied to stain spot. Stubborn! Had to reapply the paste for over an hour. Rewash and stain is gone. Once out from dryer it very wrinkled if you don’t smooth and fold immediately. Love the artful look for my S Florida home but not stain friendly

Packaged nicely & arrived on time. Colors are so pretty and they’re pretty much as pictured. The fabric has a good weight to it without being too heavy or flimsy. I’ve decided to use the placemats as cloth napkins for my table scape as they fold & shape well. I purchased the matching table runner & table cloth too. Love them also! They’re all reversible so it’s nice to have the option to mix and match. I liked the pattern, material & quality enough to buy 2 more runners. I definitely recommend!

These are so much nicer than I expected. The place mats are a beautiful heavy weight fabric with precisely finished edges with meticulous stitching, no unsightly overlapped stitches and no stray threads. They are actually two sided with both sides perfectly presentable. I used the reverse side, a lovely plaid in the same colors, under my center piece. The packaging folds ironed out and the mats lie perfectly flat with no curled edges. These are beautiful place mats perfect for a special table setting.

I spotted these placemats on Amazon and I was impressed with the beautiful choices of prints. I specifically wanted something I could wash and these definitely fit the bill. Normally I would have made my own quilted placemats but I didn't have time due to other projects. These placemats aren't very thick and don't have any batting between the layers but they don't have to have that to function properly as a placemat. They fold up nicely and fit in the drawers in my dining room table. I purchased both autumn and winter themes so I'm sure I'll be back to purchase prints for the other seasons as well.

Nachdem die Kinder nun etwas größer sind, wollte ich etwas schönere Platzdecken (weg vom Abwasch-Plastik), die aber trotzdem pflegeleicht sind. Mit diesen bin ich sehr zufrieden. Sie sehen wirklich schön aus. Wenn man sie nach dem Waschen an den Ecken zieht, braucht man sie für den alltäglichen Bedarf nicht bügeln. Nach doch einigen Wäschen hält sich die Farbe bei mir gut. Sie sind durch die mehrlagige Verarbeitung schön dick. Wäre das Label etwas anders angenäht oder leichter zu entfernen, könnte man es sogar beidseitig verwenden. Dies ist leider ein Manko, da ich dies aber nicht erwartet hatte, trotzdem 5 Sterne.

Ich habe insgesamt 8 Stück bestellt (2 Mal Vierer-Set). Leider habe ich bei einem Vierer-Set nur zwei Stück drinnen gehabt. Das heißt, ich habe anstatt 8 nur 6 Stück.Zwei Sterne gibt es wegen der Qualität, weil sie echt schön sind.

Die Tischsets sind wunderschön, sehr schöne und kräftige Farben. Leider hat das ganze einen Nachteil, die Tischset sind voller Knitter, trotz Bügeln und sorgfältigem Versorgen. Ich denke sie sind zu leicht oder der Rand ist zu wenig kräftig gehalten. Wäre dieses Problem nicht, würde ich definitiv weitere Motive kaufen, aber so leider nicht.

La stampa è molto delicata e bella, il tessuto è doppiato e sul retro presenta un colore azzurro a pois bianchi. Ben rifinito, 100% cotone e lavabile in lavatrice.
