DESIGNPHIL Midori 12396006 Diary, 5 Year Consecutive Door, Black

I purchased the 10 yr for myself and this 5 yr for my daughter. The perfect size for keeping and gifting. The paper is of high Midori quality, the pages are thick enough to withstand fountain pens, there is no bleed-through, and the format is very easy to use. Overall, an excellent value and gorgeous keepsake.

I love this 5 year journal. The box arrived slightly damaged, but that wasn't a deal breaker to me. I imagine the box will get more beat up over the years, so I just glued the tear back together, no big deal. But that may bother some people who like pristine journals. The journal itself was in perfect condition, just the storage box had an issue. The cover of the journal seems very sturdy, and the gold foil debossing was a very nice and elegant touch. The paper quality of Midori products is always outstanding. Fountain pen friendly and very smooth. I love the layout of the 5 year journal- much better than other brands who seem to waste paper on large swathes of empty space. I really like the prologue and epilogue sections at the beginning and end of the journal to write goals and reflections for each year. That's a nice touch that was unexpected. I can't wait to get started on this journal!

I love this little diary! The 5 year concept is great! I can’t wait to look back and see what I wrote from the years ago! It feels durable, the pages are thick enough so that my pens don’t bleed through, great for journaling! I recommend!

This is a lovely way to end my day. I write the highlights of the day, and sometimes the low points! The size is just right for my nightstand, and to tuck into my carryon when I travel. The paper is smooth and just the right weight.

Attractive but too small for me.

I love it. Ability to see multiple years and start at any month or day. I can quickly write down my thoughts for the day. I am using a fountain pen with no leaking or spreading

This Midori 5 Year Diary came exactly as described and I love that I could start it on any day. I chose to begin it in the middle of the year and just made a note that it was my first entry since I didn’t want to wait until January to use it. The paper is very nice and doesn’t bleed through. It is cream colored and gentle on the eyes. I am keeping mine in the exterior cover that came with it because the diary itself has a fabric cover and I don’t want it to get dirty over time. Overall it is a great value for the money and I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a dirt such as this.

This Midori 5-Year Journal is an elegant and classy way to capture your daily events and highlights. It comes in a lovely hard cardboard sleeve. The hard cover has a fabric covering with gold embossing. The pages are high quality with an off white, almost vintage colour. The lines and art printed onto the paper has a hand-drawn look to them, giving this journal a lot of character. My gel worked great with this paper but will need to dry else the ink the transfer to other page when closed. Not a problem with this journal but with the pen ink I'm using.
