This is absolutely amazing, i've put off changing the headband for years for fear that i would break the headphones but it's such a quite and easy fix and has made them look brand new and had saved me from buying a new pair. I forgot to take a before picture but the quality is so close to being that of bose, and now I can customise the colours of the headphones with this set

This kit has brought back the reason I bought Bose headphones - sound quality noise cancelling and comfort!!! Yes it's a little tricky to fit, but that's because Bose intended it to be impossible to replace the headband aftermarket. The extra few £€$ is for the ingenuity and style these guys have brought to the problem. Well done first class.

Shocked. That's the word. I knew this was one of Amazon's most expensive replacement kits, but after doing the first replacement on my Q35 of only the ear cushions, I was convinced it was worth the money. The first replacement already surprised me with how good the material was. It was so good it convinced me it was the same factory that makes the originals which are sold with the headphones, because they were identical in every way. Now this particular kit that I'm now reviewing, got me even more impressed. The cushions are, again, exactly the same as the orginals, plus they came with these very thin silicon covers that feel amazing. I might change my mind if it's a hot environment as I assume they will be warmer, and will feel bad if I'm sweaty, but so far they feel perfect and I'm sure will prolong the life of the cushions even more. Now the headband cover got me very scared as I had to manually cut the original one with scissors, but the replacement is very easy to install in its place, even smarted as now it's easier to replace again if needed. The only minor thing I noticed was the the material covering the cushion in the replacement is like a cloth, whilst the original was more like a suede/alcantara like material. That's the only downside but if you have hair, that won't bother you as it won't touch your skin. It's not like the cloth feels bad anyway.

Having changed the original Bose ear pads a couple of years ago, they had perished probably more so than the originals. However black particles were starting to stick to me face and neck when I used my headphones so I had to do something. I was pleased to see that this time, the covers come with the additional silicon covers to prevent oils and such deteriorating the faux leather again. The silicon is still very smooth and soft, just a tad cooler to the touch, which is a plus in my books. Fingers crossed the will improve the overall life of these new pads. I was in two minds about replacing the headband (which had also started to deteriorate) because it was mentioned that scissors were required to disassemble the old band. However, I bought the set, with the thought to do this at a later date if I needed to. Replacing the ear pads is made easy but the instructions and the littles blue tool, just be sure to check the entire rim of the covers, because one part may pop out as another pops in. I decided to take the punt and remove the headband because it now looked scruffy in comparison to the new ear pads. I was very grateful for the Ho-To-Video in the Amazon listing, and had this on loop until it got annoying. Overall I am very pleased with the greatly reconditioned finished of the headphones. The product only looses point as it was not made clear on the instructions to remove the two plastic strips which were stuck to the top of the headband (under the top leatherette piece) for the replacement strip to clip in place correctly. Also, it was not clear (to me at least) that there is a right and wrong way up to screw the plastic headband end clips back in place. I found this really fiddly, but once I checked some YT videos, I realise why the screws were not fixing back in place properly. However, big kudos for including the mini screwdriver guys!

I have been searching for a replacement headband for a while for my 7 year old headphones and at last there is an option to replace it. Over the years I have had several replacement pads but the headphones were looking scruffy with the original band. Now the headband and ear pads have been replaced the headphones look like new. Replacing the headband is easy, you just have to be careful removing the Bose one. You have to cut them away. Be careful of the cable though, this runs along the top so it's best to cut along the side and slightly to the bottom. The replacement headband just clips together and is a very good fit. The silicon ear pad protectors are very good and stop a lot of sweat when I'm in the gym. If a protector for the headband was available it would be prefect. Overall very happy with this kit.

I thought these replacements were great, especially the silicon sleeves that go over the cushions saves them when you’re running and getting sweaty. Would very much recommend them.

super good quality, seems durable. great value for the money since they made my bose look brand new. easy installation with clear instructions and perfect fit. doesn’t affect the sound quality at all!

変えた後の付け心地に変化が出るのは覚悟の上でしたが大きな変化なく、長時間付けていても違和感のないアイテムで助かりました。 ボロボロになってもずっとイヤーパッドのみを変えて使い続けていた初めてのボーズ、お気に入りなので捨てる選択肢がなく、頭頂部のレザーがボロボロになっても壁にかけて大事にしていました、ヘッドの代えがあるなんて事を知らず、このアイテムのお陰で生まれ変わってまた一緒に出掛けたりできただけでなく、いちいち四苦八苦していたイヤーパッドの代えが楽にできるアイテムまで付属していてパッド代えが楽しかったです、本体自体が壊れる時まで長く長く愛用したいヘッドフォンでしたので、こんなアイテムがあって助かりました！ありがとうございました！

Molto morbidi e bello il copri in silicone. Purtroppo il copri archetto non si allineava bene al ponticello e ho fatica per adattarlo. Comunque in linea di massima è un buon prodotto, il cacciavite è molto bello.

I was nervous to change the ear pads and headband, and also to use scissors!! Very easy to do. The results- good as new. Updated the colour and they will keep going for many years more!!
