The Groutenator Jr - for use on small to medium sized projects! The Patented Bladder or Bag design inhibits setup of the Grout mix and ensures no water loss while compressing. With a Syringe type dispensing tube sand will travel under the seal no matter how tight and take with it the water that allows the Grout to flow. The Groutenator's disposable bag System traps the water insuring product flow and in the process keeps your tube clean. Just pop out the bag when spent with only the removable tip to wash. When ready to use, puncture the Bag from the Tip to allow Grout flow. Working time will depend on the consistency of your mix. Once the Groutenator is loaded into a Caulk Gun, test an easy to get to area to develop a feel for the pressure needed to expel the proper amount of Grout into the Gap size needed. Hold the Gun at a slight angle to the Tile and apply slight pressure of the Rubber Tip into the Gap area. Drag the Tip while dispensing the Grout as you go along. When complete pop out the bag, the Tube will stay clean with only the Tip to be washed off. Re-usable no mess system Targets the Grout into the cracks! Heavy Duty 3/16" thick walls for durability. Results Fast and Clean! For Total System with Gun applicator search: JR G-GUN GROUTENATOR SYSTEM. FOR GROUTING: Use only SANDED GROUT for 1/8" to 1/2" Joints for best results.

Good news.
Good news... Great idea. Bad news... A couple design flaws. Good news... Easy fix. The design flaw is that the bag is useless. Extremely difficult to load even following the directions. Zip lock gets grout in it easily and won't close. When you puncture the hole in the front it shifts as you continue to apply pressure. You end up making just as much of a mess anyway. The solution is simple. Just load the grout right into the tube! Stuff a plastic bag at the back and you're good to go! The other design flaw is that the tip gets clogged easily because it is not tapered. There is a reason caulk tubes always have a tapered tip . Hopefully the manufacturers will change that. The best part about the design is that the tip is easily removable by unscrewing. The grout will likely Harden depending on circumstances but it is easy to clean the tip out and put it right back on. Even the bag didn't help with the drying because it didn't get clogged in the tube, it got clogged in the tip. If you are not going to grout continuously then remove the tip and swish it in water until you are ready to start again... Same procedure as when using a paint sprayer. All in all, great idea, just needs a little tweaking.

Too much work filling it and cleaning up
I purchased this to use while grouting an interior wall in our kitchen after installing a thin brick web accent on a couple walls. It’s not that it doesn’t work but it takes forever to load and reload. You make just as much mess in doing so and you have only a small amount to apply before having to reload it. Once you have applied itbetween the brick, you still make a similar mess when wiping it down. I think I’ll just stick with the bakers bag that looks like you are applying icing to a cake. At least then I crave birthday cake

Don’t buy this product, buy zip lock bags!😎
The product did not work not matter what I tried, wet mix, medium, and dry , and it never worked. Actually, I tried a 1 qt zip lock bag with the mix and it worked much better. This product was a complete joke. Save your money and buy zip lock bags.

Recommended.
This product makes the job of grouting between high relief tiles much more practical and clean than usual float grout application method. A winner for hand made tiles projects. Recommended.

A complete waste of $20
Absolutely a piece of monumental frustration and a complete waste of money, takes way too load in the plastic bag, material got all over your hands, and once this was finally loaded, the grout only lasts about 10 tiles, then back to the task of loading the messy bag. I'm an builder and have never regretted a purchase as much as the "groutenator". Stick with $3 grout bags
