Frywall 12 (Large) - Red - Splatter Guard, as Seen on Shark Tank

Possibly one of the best purchases I have ever made. This thing is the ultimate to be able to fry on your stovetop in your cast iron skillet and not have to do a deep clean on your stovetop after. It contains almost all of the splatter you get with frying bacon or chicken. Some of the bad reviews I read talked about it collapsing or not working ... if it doesn't work for you, you have probably bought the wrong size. If you have a 12" skillet, buy the 12" size. And when you place it in the skillet, the bottom of the frywall should not touch the bottom of your skillet. It should be a little up the wall of the skillet and if it is, it will be held there by the skillet wall and not collapse. And I love that it fits in the dishwasher so cleanup of it is super easy. Definitely recommend if you hate cleaning your stove.

I have no idea why this would be frequently returned. It is awesome!! Even with a metal splatter screen grease would go everywhere. With this doohickey, I have no splatter outside of the collar. The bottom of it does not sit flush with the bottom of your pan (and make sure you measure what size pan you have and order accordingly) The collar sits slightly above the bottom of your pan, maybe 1/2". At first I thought I had received the wrong size, but no, d'oh, I was trying to put it in incorrectly. Best buy ever. Now I can get rid of that worthless splatter screen. I am going to buy the other two sizes, though really, I probably don't need the smallest one. I could reach in to the collar to do whatever needed to be done with whatever I was cooking. Absolutely happy with this product

A handy little gadget, but it's not perfect. The rubber material becomes more flexible as it heats, and sometimes the upper part of this cone-shaped thing sort of folds in on itself and droops into the pan. Also, it's difficult -- close to impossible -- to lift a pan and swish around its contents while using this. Nonetheless, it does indeed block grease, oil and other stuff from splattering all over the stove, so it makes clean-up much, much easier. If you're on the fence about buying one of these, I'd say it's worth ordering one to see if you like it

This works great! Whenever I fry foods or anything that’s going to splash I use it. Very easy to clean up. You can put it in the dishwasher and it really helps keep from making a mess.

Good Idea for less cleanup of splatter grease.

More trouble than it is worth

I was not expecting to like this but I tried frying bacon with it and it controlled the amount of grease splattered on the stove. This did not help prevent grease from spilling out of the pan do expect to clean up some grease spots. The cooking area did downsize a bit but the fact that you did not have to scrub the whole stove was a big plus.
