Wiha 28103 Magnetic 1/4 Bit Holder, Stubby, 57mm

The Wiha 28103 Magnetic Stubby Bit Holder is one of my favorite compact drivers thanks to its stainless‑steel construction, excellent ergonomics, and extremely low profile. Wiha makes a similar model with internal bit storage, but this review is for the simpler, less expensive version—and honestly, it’s the one I prefer. This is one of the smallest stubby bit drivers you can buy, and when paired with standard 1" bits (or even stubby bits), it gives you an incredibly compact setup. The wide‑diameter handle lets you choke up close to the bit for maximum control while still applying plenty of torque. The magnet is very strong, designed primarily for standard 1" bits, but it also works with longer bits. If you don’t mind using pliers to retrieve the bit afterward, you can even use half‑length bits for the lowest possible profile. In my comparison photos, I show it next to my other favorite stubby—the Felo Ergonic. The Felo requires 2" bits (50 mm) or longer, while the Wiha works perfectly with 1" bits, making the Wiha roughly 5/8" lower profile. That difference matters when you’re working in tight spaces. At under $15, this is an easy buy if you want a high‑quality, low‑profile stubby bit driver that feels great in the hand and works with almost any bit you throw at it. I have owned Snap On stubby screwdrivers and I like the quality of this one. German and Japanese tools are made of suoerior materials, so no doubt this is a great tool. The bit is held in with the help of a strong magnet and feels great in my hand. It's very easy to use in tight spots and stores away easily in my tool box. A great addition to the rest of my other tools.

Picked these up in conjunction with the Whia Torx Bit set at the recommendation of Metal Complex (YouTube) when doing research on different things to consider when purchasing a quality pocket knife. This exactly what it looks like, a stubby little magnetic bit driver. It's great for up close small projects. In my case, dealing with T6 and T8 Torx screws on a pocket knife when doing maintenance or swapping the pocket clip to the left hand side what with being a South Paw. It's got a comfortable grip and the magnetic holder makes it reliable to work with but quick and easy when you need to swap bits.

I was looking for a small Screw Driver Handle to keep in one of my Tool Bags. Specifically for use with Hex Bits. This was the perfect solution. It's plenty small enough to fit in one of the pockets inside the Tool Bag, without taking up much space. But large enough where I can get a good grip on the Handle. To Torque Down on a Screw. Or loosen one that has been a bit stubborn. Just one minor disappointment. I wish it came with a Locking Ring or clip. That would only extend the Hex Bit Fitting by about maybe 1/8 inch. So, it wouldn't affect the overall size of the tool by much. The Magnet is plenty strong enough to hold Hex Bits in place. There is also plenty of Magnetism left over. To hold Screws onto the Tip of the Hex Bits. But somewhere along the line. I managed to pick up some Hex Bit Adapter/Extensions. That are made of Non Ferris Material. Meaning they are not Magnetic. So, If I try to use one of these Extensions with this handle, because I need just a bit more reach. The Extensions fall right out of the Handle. Because there is nothing to hold them in place. Otherwise no complaints, Great Purchase.

Handy tool for small applications.

Another excellent Wiha product. I have used this for removing screws from the back of my Nikon lens. Stubby grip for the required torque. Made the job almost effortless and no damage to the screws.
