The waist ribbon was missing - so consider when buying

True to the customer reviews I had read, the holes for the laces were stabbed, not punched, so the laces provided were useless; fortunately, my family saves old shoelaces, so I was able to use those. (My advice to other customers is to cut laces in half or use very short laces.)The material this apron is made out of is deceptively durable; I initially feared that it would not last and almost returned it on the spot, but fortunately, I reconsidered! I have been using it for longer than a month and it has not been damaged yet, neither from use nor from cleaning. (I have ordered a second as a precaution.)I use it both for washing dishes and for emptying outdoor garbage cans at work; on hot sunny days, the dark color will be a drawback, but I can deal with that. The only possible problem is that the waist-level ends touch as the back, meaning that I have to make it loose at the waist, possibly making my neck and back bear more of the weight.

I bought this for my Leatherface costume. Halloween rolled in and I couldn't find the one I made years ago, but this looked better. My costume was great and Halloween was fun. Now I just need to find his tie!

I have used this fairly regularly for the last couple weeks. It does the job although it does feel somewhat cheep. I would describe it as a section of mid weight plastic poncho material (the reusable type that can last a few uses if your gentle with it) with a rubber coating on one side. It works well for my application (protecting my lower body from back spray while presurewashing) but I wouldn't expect it to hold up in a harsher environment. It was cheep though so I guess you get what you pay for. Still no leaks through the material and its held up to the occasional splash of steam and clean sudds (fairly caustic stuff, you dont want it on your skin)On the subject of cheapness I would recommend anyone that wants to use this regularly replace the straps. What it came with was some cheep thin material that I would consider better suited as a trim material on a costume than anything structural. Thats primarly what I docked a star for. I took some polyester web straps I salvaged off an old worn out item and fashioned something a bit more durable. It helped that the straps had buckles so I could quickly put the apron on and off without haveing to tie it behind my back and could adjust the length.Overall I'm happy with the purchase. Just keep expectations on par with the price your paying. Its a relitively inexpensive item, not a premium quality one.

The item fits the strictest sense of the description - it IS an vinyl apron. However, the vinyl is very thin (not much thicker than a ziplock bag), is fitted with grommets for the ties that are simply a melted/folded back hole in the vinyl with a hole punched through (not even punched out - just stabbed with some random sharp implement), and comes with flimsy fabric (cotton?) ties that you have to push through the holes and affix to the apron yourself. They look amateurish and are flimsy. Also, the waist ties do NOT add up to 94" of waistband as advertised - I measure it at 58 inches - adequate, but barely. I will keep this for any child helping me wash my car, but I need to go find a better waterproof apron. Disappointing, but not really - you get what you pay for, especially when it's made in China.

I gave it 4 because of the back tying is a pain...I'm working on a clip or something to clasp the string in back for faster on/off removal...

I team came in great shape except for the fabric straps they were very thin when I tried putting it on to size it the straps literally broke.The straps need to be thicker and more durable but other then that great product.

Thick, lots of coverage. Ties are crappy…slip through holes. Otherwise quality is great.

Got the apron and gave it a try while using a wet polisher. It worked very well at keeping the water off my clothing. Not a heavy apron but feels like it's of good quality.
