Art - this product is a 6 year durable product. It is meat to be placed on your cutting mat and used for your finished graphics. It is a cuttable film you run through your cutting device. Not mat material. I hope this answers your question. If not, please let me know. Thanks.

Im looking for a vinyl roll that I can print to and is adhesive. Would this work?

Cookie - this product is not meant to be printed on. There is special ink receptive media that is used for digital printing. This is a calendared vinyl. I would advise against it.

What does calendared mean?

It has to do with the way the film is manufactured. I am not sure how much technical detail you are looking for? There is an MSDS sheet on the listing. See last image. In short, the product is made a certain way as opposed to a cast vinyl film. Both products can be used indoor or outside. It maintains a 5 year warranty. Here is some technical info if you are interested:First the raw materials (including resins, plasticizers, stabilizers, color pigments, etc) are combined and heated, producing "melt". Then the melt is fed into a two-story high calendering machine that consists of a series of rollers. It is important to note that calendered vinyl is manufactured in a continual web process. It's made by putting continuous stress, pressure, and heat on the vinyl; it is literally pulled through the machine. The process resembles the way Salt Water Taffy is made. Hope this helps!!

Would this leave a residue when removed?

It may, but you can easily get it off with a goo gone type product.
