A great tool that is very portable
The EPAuto 1/4‑inch drive torque wrench exceeded my expectations. The build quality is excellent, the calibration feels spot‑on, and the click is clear without being overly loud. I appreciate the comfortable grip and the smooth adjustment range. It’s perfect for small engines, bikes, and precision work. A reliable, well‑made tool that delivers great performance.

Solid wrench but funky Nm scale. Only limits torque in 1 direction.
I got this to use as a bike torque wrench. As soon as you add "bicycle" to something, the price automatically jumps up, so this wrench was a better value than all the bike specific ones. I haven't used it too much yet, so I'll just list my first impressions. It feels solid and heavy duty. It is a little large for a 1/4" drive. The torque setting is straight forward and the clicks are pronounced enough that you won't miss it. My only complaint is the Nm scale has odd decimals in it. They couldn't adjust the marks so they lined up with 2, 4, 6, etc instead of 2.26 3.95, etc? (There is a picture on the listing that shows this now). This isn't a huge problem as the precision of setting this wrench isn't really in the decimal range anyway, but it requires some extra thought. I'm not sure that is enough to pay close to 2X the price for a bike specific wrench, however. Update 2/18/18- I discovered this wrench only limits torque in the "tighten" direction. This is a problem for reverse threads, such as pedals. Conclusion: A reasonable value and good alternative to a bike specific torque wrench

EPAuto makes a nice Torque Wrench - good quality and a smaller size for automotive work
Ok, so I started my biggest DIY auto repair project ever (for me) ... doing valve cover gaskets on a 2003 Montero Sport ... and well, long start short ... expanded to more than just the valve covers and taking off the entire intake plenum was quite a task ... and also repalcing the rear cam shaft seals. When getting ready to put it all back together, the manual showed various specification for the torque on different bolts, so I needed a smaller torque wrench that could handle the ranges needed but still would be usable in a fairly small engine compartment. So I thought of the EPAuto brand, as I recently got a tire inflator from them for Christmas which was such and awesome value (a lifetime tool) ... so I decided to see what epauto offered for torque wrenches and found this one. It worked great. Comes in a nice carrying case. Even nice instructions on how to use if you need them. Similar to the tire inflation tool, this appears to be a nice lifetime tool ... glad I bought. Price was reasonable. Highlight recommend for a smaller torque wrench that seems to be built well.

A very good tool at a very fair price.
I ordered this tool after receiving one from WALMART that was certifiable POS. It was supposed to be a right hander but was a left hander and very poorly constructed. This one is outstanding. Well made, and works like it’s supposed to. The extension and 1/4 to 3/8 adapter were a nice touch. It was neatly packaged, and included a conversion chart plus a calibration record that included the calibration values and the name of the person that did the test.

Locking Mechanism Stripped
The torque wrench is good for the price, the click does work and had no problem with any bolt being stripped. My concern/complaint is the locking/unlocking mechanism that is rough to use which i beleive makes the internal thread strip easily, I managed to complete my project with this tool however this is my 2nd day with this tool and now it is technically broken considering I cant lock on to the setting I need anymore. I would recommend for short term use if you are on a budget, other than that its a decent wrench. UPDATE: I warranty returned and got another one this time i added my own lubrication and its working smoother expected to last longer!

Perfect for Cars
I’ve lately started working on my car and today I decided to replace my water pump in my Corolla. I bought a whole Socket wrench set from Hone Depot and I learned I needed a torque wrench as well. Saw this and got it. Got the in/lb for 29 and the ft/lb for $6 Black Friday sale. Originally, was gonna get the 1/4 in/lb only. But during check out the 1/2 ft/lb was $6, didn’t think twice. Was finally able to use them today and they worked perfectly. 2 bolts on the pump needed to be 96 in/lbs and 4 needed to be 80 in/lbs. Was perfect for the job. The 1/4 in/lb came with the adapter for 1/4 to 3/8. The deep socked I used were 3/8 and I was happy this also came with the adapter. The 1/2 ft/lb was also perfect I needed to use it on the alternator. The top both was 18ft/lb and the bottom was 40ft/lb. No issues at all, both worked like a charm.

Good buy
Best unit for the price. Works well for light duty torque applications. Torque setting is easy to feel and hear. Only problem is, Torque setting numbers are not very easy to read. Overall I am satisfied.

Yes I recommand it.
Very nice, well made, easy to use and durable Torque Wrench. Plus having the 3/8” driver adapter and the 1/4” drive extension bar is a very nice bonus for the price. I reccommand.

Looks and feels solid
I haven't used the products yet. But out of the box it looks well made and feels solid. So for the price I wouldn't complain at what I've seen.
