Need better quality control
Found they had shipped a defective USB cable with this product after trying to get this thing to download for over two hours. It would pass data thru the unit via the RS485 ports jacks to my MT50 and PC using the RS485 cable to monitor via the Solar Station app. But when I tried to download data via the usb port it would disable my usb mouse on my PC and never show up under ports in device manager. Anyway, took it back home where I tried my own mini usb to type a usb cable and it came right up. So obviously they shipped a bad usb cable with the unit. Next...figured I'd try to clear the memory and start clean so tried to push the reload button for 5 seconds, but no luck. Took the case off and finally found after messing with the reset button found it was stuck after pushing hard and hearing a snap sound that released it to be pushed and finally able to reset the device. I have two Epever charge controllers that work well. This simple device sure caused me a lot of grief and time due to poor quality control.
