I purchased these magnets for the dog door to increase the strength of the flap adhesion since the cats recently figured out how to use the door as well. First round of cheaper magnets of the same size (different brand) did not work. These magnets have increased the strength enough to thwart the efforts of the cats while still alowing ease of access for the large (70 lbs )dogs. Definitely recommend.

I bought this magnet for a very specific application. I am an electrician, and it is quite common for the sheetrockers to cover my electrical boxes.
