Good replacement for very expensive incandescents
We have lights over a bathroom sink from the early 1950s that require long, skinny Edison bulbs. The replacement incandescent bulbs cost about $30 each, over 20 years ago. So expensive That cheap bill-payer me decreed that only guests would be allowed to use the lights.With these replacements, we can now start treating that light switch like any other in the house. Light output is a bit brighter than the incandescents they replaced, and it's a warm yellow; very similar to the old lights. Only issue with these for my personal use is that I had to buy E27 adapters to use the bulbs in my fixtures.

Check the specifications
Unfortunately I didn't pay close enough attention to the base size when I ordered these. They're smaller than normal bulbs (like for a small lamp fixture). They look great, though!I'll have to think more about how I can put them to use since I don't have a suitable fixture at the moment.
